HeatherMarie (heathermariereads) | 66 comments Hey looking for more books like Shelly Laurenston's Pride series.
The Mane Event (Pride, #1) by Shelly Laurenston The Beast in Him (Pride, #2) by Shelly Laurenston The Mane Attraction (Pride, #3) by Shelly Laurenston The Mane Squeeze (Pride, #4) by Shelly Laurenston Beast Behaving Badly (Pride, #5) by Shelly Laurenston Big Bad Beast (Pride, #6) by Shelly Laurenston Bear Meets Girl (Pride, #7) by Shelly Laurenston Wolf with Benefits (Pride, #8) by Shelly Laurenston Bite Me (Pride, #9) by Shelly Laurenston
What in particular I'm looking for:
✔️ Shapeshifters- werewolves, dragon, bear & cat shifters are fine but less represented shifters or crossbreeds would be a bonus
✔️Funny
✔️World building
✔️Characters from different books are not all enamored of all other characters from previous books
What I'm NOT looking for
❌ dark storylines

Can you guys think of any good books with some or all of these criteria?

Thanks!

Jayne (britishjayne) | 50 comments Following this thread Shelly's pride series was my first foray into shifters. I was surprised at how hot they were, stupid self and pre-conceptions :D I loved her Call of Crows series and trusted her enough to give these a shot!

ReadKnitHoard | 3 comments First, I assume you're aware that Shelly Laurenston writes dragons as G.A. Aiken?

Next, I suggest you take a look at Dana Marie Bell's Halle Pumas. Yes, they're novellas, but you'll know quickly whether DMB is your catnip or not. If she is, she has all kinds of series for you to read…

That should get you started. Happy reading! :)

Thanks ms bookjunkie! Great lead on Halle Pumas- will have to check it out.
Weirdly, tried a couple G.A. Aiken-Dragon books & were totally not my cup of tea...don't know why they wouldn't be -grrrrr!
