He is kinda irritating, in a lovable annoying kind of way.
I finished. I liked the first book better. Don really got on my nerves this time around!! Or maybe I just don't remember how awful he was in the first book. lol.

Not at all! She basically just tried to avoid every situation which was not mature and not helpful to Don at all. She KNOWS he doesn't "get it" like normal people and she still never helped him out and told him exactly what she meant. A very frustrating book. lol

No kidding! lol.

If there isn't even any information on it, I highly doubt it's coming out next May. And WTH, Don is not supposed to be crazy hot so Ryan Reynolds would NOT work. lol. Apparently it's been "in the works" since 2017. Seems pretty chaotic.
This was on the Wiki page: "In September 2014 it was confirmed that Sony Pictures optioned film rights to The Rosie Project. Simsion penned the first draft of the script and screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber were later brought on to work on the final script, with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller set to potentially direct. Jennifer Lawrence was cast as the female lead for the film in July 2015. In October 2015, Lawrence dropped out to star in the film mother! by Darren Aronofsky, director of the Oscar-winning movie Black Swan.[5] In July 2015, Richard Linklater was in talks to direct after Lord and Miller dropped out to do other projects.[6] However, after Lawrence dropped out of the film, so did Linklater.[7] In 2017, TriStar Pictures announced that Ben Taylor would direct the film."
I could and would LOVE to see J-Law as Rosie though! Maybe she has time now! But not Ryan Reynolds as Don.

Ohh that would be so cool!! I just read a really good YA book called All the Bright Places. It is also going to be a movie!
Carol, do you want to read this together at some point this year? I plan on getting it from my library, maybe a month or two after release. Release date is Feb 5.

Yes! I JUST put my name on the hold list. The listing says there are 8 people ahead of me and only one book so I think, I should get it 24 weeks after 2/5... Here's hoping they get another copy... Does that sound doable with your schedule?
Weird, the e-book is available but the paperback and hardcover don't come out till May 28.
