Take a minute to tell us about yourself, plug your own novel or just say hi!

I'm Jonas Lee, author of the Carter Gabel trilogy and Indie author looking to entertain your socks off. Doing this podcast with Kate has been a wonderful way to look in on books with more of an academic eye for what I enjoy with reading and what fuels myself as well.

Liv (LivTheBookNerd) (livthebooknerd) Hi my name is Olivia! I’m an avid reader and book blogger. I’m currently a college sophomore at an Indiana University school and I’m majoring in English (writing, editing, & media). The goal is to go into publishing, but I’m not sure what aspect of publishing that I want to go into quite yet. I also eventually want to write a YA book (or books!) but until I graduate I don’t think I have time to commit. School comes first. Until then, I’m always writing down ideas for my own stories and dreaming about writing them down. Someday I’m going to write a book that will make my readers stay up all night writing fan theories and crying....

My favorite genre is fantasy but I looove science fiction as well.

You can check out my book blog here: www.livthebooknerd.blogspot.com

Hey, everyone! (If you listen to the podcast, I'm the one who always kicks it off with that greeting. LOL)

I'm Kate M. Colby. I've loved reading books of all genres since I learned how, but I've always had a special affection for science fiction (especially post-apocalyptic/dystopian) and fantasy novels. While the other genres are great, there's just something about being transported to an entirely new world (or a version of Earth that feels new) that grabs my imagination like nothing else.

Currently, I've independently published three books in the steampunk/science fantasy series, Desertera. I'm hoping to write many more over my lifetime!

I'm really excited to record these podcast episodes and have some awesome, bookwormy discussions with you all. Thanks for joining me and Jonas in this group!
