Adam Kimball: Cincinnati homicide detective. He’s Deacon's cousin.
Mallory Martin: Once known as Sunshine Suzie, she was with The Professor since she was 12-years old when he featured her on child porn sites.
Montgomery (Stone) O'Bannion: Marcus' brother and Jeremy's eldest adopted son, Della's child by her first husband. He's recovered from the shooting massacre at the office by Ken Sweeney. He works for the Ledger and is seeing Delores.
Delores Kiminski: Woman from the grocery store parking lot who was shot by Jordan. She survived and is still recovering. She runs an animal shelter, Patrick's Place Animal Shelter, and a mobile dog grooming service. She's seeing Stone.
Deacon Novak: FBI special agent assigned to the Cincinnati Major Case Enforcement Squad (MCES) after having transferred from Baltimore. He's Scarlett's partner and is engaged to Faith. He has unusual eyes, both blue and brown in each and white hair.
Faith Corcoran: Formerly Faith Frye. Psychologist who worked with sex offenders and their victims until she was attacked by one, she recently left Miami to escape her attacker (now dead) and returned home to Cincinnati. She's engaged to Deacon and has joined Meredith's practice.
Scarlett Bishop: Detective with the Cincinnati Police Department assigned to the Cincinnati Major Case Enforcement Squad (MCES) and Deacon's partner. She’s involved with Marcus.
Marcus O'Bannion: Publisher and CEO of The Ledger, the family's newspaper. He's Jeremy O'Bannion's adopted son, his former wife's son by her first husband. He’s involved with Scarlett.
Dannika (Dani) Novak: Deacon's sister, a doctor who is HIV positive.
Diesel Kennedy: Works for Marcus, handles IT security. He’s interested in Dani.

Wyatt is the killer. Adam ended up killing him after he got away and had Meredith.

Linnea was able to figure out who Wyatt was by tracing him back to his daughter, even though she didn’t know he was a cop. She hid in his wife’s car when she went to drop off Ariel at school and then forced her to drive home. She waited in his house with Rita at gunpoint but by that time, the news was out about Wyatt. She called the number on TV and Adam and team Came to the house and she went with them willingly. She’s now at a home in Chicago with Shane who is returning to school.

Mike was Dale Hanson’s half brother. Wyatt was adopted by Dale. Turns out Dale wasn’t the “honorable” man Adam thought he was. (hide spoiler)]

I just got this book, at long last, and read it. I'll try to get into the discussion a couple of months late. Better late than never!
