Hello everyone!

Find your name on the list below and then click on the person below you. This will be who you are picking for. The last person will pick for the first person. You will choose a book for that person off of their to be read list and that is one book you read for August. Please if you participate choose book in timely manner for the person you need to choose for. If after 4 days you have not been chosen a book let me know and I will choose one for you.

welcome Brenda. i love this game i play it on some of my other groups, so wanted to add it to mine but don't know how many people will play, so right now i pick for you and if no one lists under you then you will choose for me but lets wait and see if we get more players. Sorry I can't pick or purchase books picked for me. I am on a very limited income and have to read just what's available. I live in the country and dont have access to the library.

Hi Linda,
I would like to participate, but have a question. I am constantly working on my to be read list, with review books on top of that. So, if the picked book is one I own, or easily accessible at my library...or a very affordable ebook, then I will be able to do it. I know the person picking the book won't know if I have easy access to the book. If I can't do that particular book, is it ok to pass on it or request that they pick a different one? Or do I just wait till the next month?

Brittany that would be fine,because sometimes i don't have access to certain books either. Just let that person know to choose another book from your list or if you want you can make up a new list naming it my available books and then that person will choose from that list for you instead of the to be read list. Ok Lisa, I have picked the book for you to read for August from your list. It is...On Every Side by Karen Kingsbury!! Karen talks about a city that this happened in, Marshfield,Wisconsin...this is where I live, so I thought what a great book for you to read.

Brenda yes you come back her and give it a review and how you liked the book.

Rita, when you go to add book there will be a place to type in the name of the book and then right under that there is link or cover. if you click on cover when you select the book you are looking for click add and it will show the cover.

Noel, i believe you have to choose for Darlene, so you can go ahead and do so. Seems like everyone has their book chosen except for Darlene and myself, But i have to wait and see if anyone else joins us, if not then Brittany will choose for me. OK thank you Wendy. I will read it tomorrow as I have it on kindle lol. Now since it is a short novella (only 73 pages) I don't mind if a second book is chosen.

Sure that's fine. There is a combo of novellas and novels, and combo of library and kindle books lol

Only problem is there no more of the letters you need in the list.

If that is why you choose it thank you but I didn't even think that way honestly though that would make sense to me. I am not worried about the letter Y since Christmas books usually start with Yuletide or Yule or something. As a matter of fact in November there is a book Yuletide Baby that is on my "new releases" list. I have read authors with V and Y but I didn't list those because of the fact that I know that I can get a hold of books starting with those letters that I have already read in the past years. Q I have read books that have the letter in the title if I can't find anything that starts with the letter Q. X is really the only letter I think I am going to struggle with LOL. So does that help?
