I can't seem to put in just a single space.

So I started putting < br>< in place of the other stuff. A little over done but it works, right?
WRONG.
It looks perfect in calibre but its an error message on Marvin.
FML!

But, I'll try to be helpful.
Why isn't find and replace going to work?

It did - but for some reason the changes work in Calibre and not on my ebook reader app (Marvin).
IDK why and I don't want to use the Kobo reading app - I prefer Marvin - but I think part of it is to force you to use the Kobo app.

I can't help with that. In the end if it's not straight text I just use the app it comes with from the library. So I use CloudReader, Freading, Hoopla, Kindle (rarely) and Overdrive. Which is really confusing because they all have their irritations.
This one doesn't adjust lighting level well.
This one always switches the font sizes around and loses my place for some reason.
This one doesn't let me adjust the text size because PDF MUST DIE!!!
There's a reason I don't do a lot of eReading and just do a lot of reading. The eReader is for convenience on the go, otherwise I am more than happy with good old paper books.

Oooh. gosh. fml
I read a lot of digital only books - silly as that sounds, lol.
And i dislike reading on kobo because they do a lot of data mining and share this information.

Have you tried something like FBReader to see how it handles it? I've used it for a few public domain items over the years.

No. I want it to go inside of Marvin. It's a really great reading app and its connected to my Dropbox.

Sorry I can't be more help. At this point eBooks become completely irrelevant to me becuase reading should not require extra effort on the part of me the reader. I'm better off with a book and a booklight attached to it at that point.
I'm lazy and I like the walk to the library or I'm a Luddite. Take your pick.
If writers are going to cheap-out by not getting a publisher and going e-only then they can have the decency to create well-formatted and device inspecific formats for the reader because I won't be bothered to fix their crap.
More than a million published books every year. Think about it. As readers we have choice.
And why aren't you updating the spreadsheet?!? ;)

You are correct, sir.
And I haven't updated because I am so far behind I'm scared to even look

You seem to have read a fair few books so it shouldnt be that bad :)

I'll try to get the rest of the books in at some point and make some random guesses for categories.

Still no Bingo though, but you're one away on Alphabet. and one away on Iterm. Seriously, no tree or flower in any of those books?

Ooh. Yes, actually. I've been reading a lot of shifter novels...
I'm trying to edit in Calibre and I think I've found the two culprits:
This formatting: < p class="P-Standard">
and (strangely) paragraph break : < /p> (added an extra space to show).
I am unfamiliar with the (p class= ) soI'm wondering if there is a way to mass delete this without destroying the book. Find and replace is NOT going to work, lol.
