Hiya everyone. I'm a little late creating this new topic. I apologize. Have you all started this month's read yet? I haven't finished Blaze, I am not liking it at all. Hoping it will get better soon, I'm having a hard time staying interested.

Dolores Claiborne is the shortest book for this year and with a nice long month it should be an easy read. Let me know how you are liking it so far.

Cassidy Gatewood | 7 comments I've finished this book and I really enjoyed it. Not one of my favorites of Kings. But it still kept me interested and it was pretty short.

Hi Jeanette, Each month I post the book in a new discussion folder. This month is Dolores Claiborn. This is only for Stephen King books and the entire year of books is posted right underneath the title of the group :D Welcome!

I started reading the physical book first but I've been alternating between that and the audiobook, and I've gotta say the narrator for the audiobook is amazing! She brings you into the story so much more! Also I watched the movie with my mom growing up, so I can't help but to picture Kathy Bates narrating even though I know it's not actually her, lol.

Kimberly | 35 comments I just finished this today... LOVED it. It is my favorite Stephan King so far. I also have the movie from netflix and will be watching that tonight now that i've finished book.

Tonya (bookasaurustonya) I liked it but I didn't love it. I loved Dolores as a character, the story was interesting until the end. I was waiting for something super dramatic that never came.

Chantale Canadian Book Addict (canadianbookaddict) I haven’t even started this one yet 😩

Rosario (rinfante) | 5 comments Not my favorite SK but the story did keep me engaged throughout the book. However it felt like one long ass tangent the way the formatting was done. (if I make any sense-lol)

Me neither. I just didn't like Blaze and that messed me up for March. I'm going to put Blaze on hold so I can catch up. That one put me in a reading slump.

Hey everyone! Thank you all for sticking with the books. I did not pick up Dolores Claiborne yet....I'm awful. I opened it and saw there weren't any chapters which kind of freaked me out. Lots of people have said I need to listen to it on audio and so I'm going to put The Dark Tower on hold to listen to this one on audio.

I'm going to pick up Blaze later on in the year and finish it on audio. I just couldn't get into it.

It definitely was slow burning and also we know everything up front. We are just finding out the why. Those kinds of stories can seem like they take a long time. I know for the two cops in the story...they were probably thinking "hurry up lady and get to the point" LOL
