Anyone care to post any friend challenges on Leafmarks? They pretty much require you to find them and request to join.

Leafmarks staff have gotten suggestions to make the reading lists transferable to individual, group or other challenges, to not make them a "race," etc.

Anyone have any kindle edition book recommendations for kindle books just borrowable via kindle Unlimited (not also in prime lending library)? Recommendations for books in both prime and Unlimited? Excluding Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Hunger Games books.

I'm asking partly because I need a reading list for (at least until group challenge features are added) friend challenges.

I'm also partly asking as a Leafmarks librarian who assumes many of those books will be amazon.com exclusive (so will likely need to be added to the Leafmarks database).

In August-October, I'm likely going to do the 30-day trial for Kindle Unlimited (doubt I will continue as I already have a seldom-used-for-books prime membership.)

I tried clicking on your links but I just get a pink banner with 'User does not have access rights.' I think you're my friend on there so I don't know why I can't see it. A bug, maybe?

Same problem as Literary Ames...banner with "user does not have access rights."

Uh oh. I'm not particularly sure how those friend challenges work. I thought you could see without joining or having an invite.

Do you see anything to click to ask to join?

I can try and send you an invite if I can recognize you on Leafmarks or of you message me here or there with Leafmarks profile.

I only joined one friend challenge before and neither one if us remembers how we got it to work. I've been pretty good at putting the reading lists also on my "borrow via ..." shelf names unless something I already read.

It's a work in progress so maybe by the time I figure it out they will be much bigger reading lists. I asked about this in Leafmarks feedback: https://www.leafmarks.com/lm/#/discus...

If you go to my profile, over at right where there is a tab for "currently reading" and click "Challenges" does it let you look at any of them?

I got an email notification and clicked on the links enclosed which took me straight to your challenges. I guess friend challenges are invite-only. It'd be better if LM users could at least view them so they could ask for an invite to join you.

I think there are bugs. The challenges just aren't behaving like the first time I made some dummy ones and tested. Maybe I'll get an answer on the help threads over there.

That makes sense.

And Leafmarks staff has responded "...However, I will need to fix it so that you should be able to browse them. Will make the change this evening. Thanks..."
