Hi, this is Biswanath-the moderator of this group....
It must have happened to you-that after finishing a book you can’t sleep for quite some days or perhaps weeks....
Or ever happened to you that a book gave you pin pricking sensation....
Well friends- I know it happened with you more than once......
Why not share your feelings with the rest......

Arun Kumar | 16 comments I had this feeling when I completed Harry Potter series first. Finishing that series felt like bidding adieu to a friend whom I had known for decades. I remember taking a long gap before starting another book. It was my grievance period for all the characters I had grown fond of. I used to be envious of my friends who had not read Harry Potter because that way you could go through the entire reading journey once again.
I've felt similarly for Ruskin Bond books too. But unlike Harry Potter, I used to miss the beautiful places and animals he would describe in the book.

Abhinav Singh (scribblerabhinav) | 9 comments The same happened after I read the God Father for the first time. Any book I had read before or many years to come couldn’t match up to it.
For many weeks I kept turning through the pages in the book to refresh the memory of those moments.
But you finally grow out of it...

1. Papillon
2. The Shiva triology
3. The fountainhead
4. Atlas shrugged
5. Sybil- quite disturbing as I read it a young age
