Year-long NaNo discussion

I'm currently writing the second book of the "Christmas Joy series" - I'm hoping to get quite a lot written in April at CampNano! The first book of this series is White Christmas.

Before anyone asks, I'm not selling any of my books anywhere, although I I really hope to someday. :)

That's cool! I plan on My Time in Amar being four books as well ;P It's cool that our series (which could probably not be any more different) are the same length XD

Yeah sort of, but I really like Christmas, so I don't mind too much!! :D I think the story will be done soon, then I'll move on to my second mystery book ... or a short story I already started!

I tried reading a Christmas book when it wasn't Christmas and it didn't end well. As much as I love Christmas it only makes me sad when I watch or read Christmas books when it isn't that time of the year.

And I'm not going to lie, I'm super jealous of how you can just pop out books like that ;P

Yeah I know what you mean!!! I don't think I could write Christmas books all the time when it's not Christmas, but I've been wanting to finish this one for a while, so I don't want to wait until December to write it! ;)

Hahaha! :D If you must know, it wasn't until recently that I started doing that! After I finished "White Christmas" - my first book ever finished - things got easier ... for some reason!! :D Maybe it was because I had hope I would be able to finish my next book!

Rubbing his hands together to free the packed snow on his gloves, Ryan glanced around at the kids. Marcus had jumped for joy when he heard about the snowball fight idea and raced outside in a flash. Carrie was a little more hesitant, but she joined everyone else and looked adorable in her big, red, double pompom hat. Ken stood with his arms folded and legs evenly planted. Evelyn looked sure of herself like always, not even caring if she'd be beat or not. Snowball fights weren't for the weak, that's for sure.

“Uh-uh, whether you've been good or not, I'm not saying a word. Anyway, it was a man-to-man conversation, not man-to man-to-woman.” He grinned when she gave a loud moan. “And by the way, when we're doing a snowball fight, don't ask me questions like that.”

Things were calm until she had to drive her car over a huge ramp. Fail. The car leaped over the jump, sailed to the left, and dropped into the river below. “Oh the indignity!” She tapped her remote, waiting for her car to be dropped onto the road again. Thankfully it had been dropped on the other side of the ramp. Now to catch up with the other players. Ken was first and way in front of everyone.
“Hey!” She groaned when he passed her.
He grinned. “You're way behind, Ev.”
“Okay, okay, I know!” She pushed the “accelerator button” harder on her control, mentally telling her car to go faster. She'd catch up if it was the last thing she'd do. As she turned a corner, Ryan's hand grabbed the control. “What are you doing?”
“Winning the race.”
