Julissa Villagomez The book I read for my book report was called Before I Fall this book is more of a thriller/mystery because it is very thrilling and it leads to lots of problems that happens in this girl’s life. This book was about a girl named Sam she is the main character in this book and what happened was that she got in a car crash one day and she started reliving that day over and over again since the morning until the night that the crash happens. something important that I should point out is that when Sam dies she has visions of a girl who she had bullied before. The main character Sam runs into problems when she starts reliving the same day over and over again. My favorite character was Juliet.

The only character that I could relate to was Juliet. I couldn’t really relate to any of the other characters because I couldn’t relate to reliving the same day over and over again even though sometimes it feels like that like when you have déjà vu or something. I have definitely felt things that Juliet would feel I would get bullied when I was younger too and it made me really sad when i was younger because I wouldn’t understand why people were so rude to me. Even though Juliet is a made-up character I think that a lot of people can still relate to how she felt while being bullied.

I definitely did like this book I think other people that like kind of thriller or drama books would definitely like this book. my favorite part of the book was when Kent (a sweet nerdy kid who was obsessed with Sam) confessed his love to her. my least favorite part of the book was probably the beginning of the book when they introduced a lot of rich and snobby girls but they didn’t really have to do anything with Sam later on in the book they were just kind of like “props”. What the author did really well was describing things, it was really scary trying to imagine reliving the same day over and over again after you had just been in a terrifying crash. I truly felt like i had been in a crash and i was reliving the same day over and over again.

I would definitely recommend this book to other people I think that anyone would probably like this book but I think the most people that would like this book would be people exceptionally like drama books or like thriller books because this book is very exciting to read and you feel as if you were there with Sam.

The percentage of the book but I actually read was probably about 85% to 90% because I did skip over some parts that seemed pretty boring to me.
