Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

When I sort my library by ascending author name, for some reason this book comes at the top:

Clearly "Jacques-Henri Bernardin de Saint-Pierre" should not come before the "A" authors, so something is wrong here that I can't see.

I think it should be fixed now; the sort-by name which should all be lower-case had capital letters, which I believe throws off the system. If that didn't do it, please post again.

The name of the author is shown in English for me, but when I sort my read shelve by author's name, the book pops up last. I want Kotsiubynsky to go under K, but the website puts under W.

Kurt Andersen and Kayleen Schaefer are both sorting before Aa- author names. Usually it's just a space in front of the surname in the sort author field but I cannot fix either of these with regular librarian status.

re-posted here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... Since they are claimed profiles they need to be taken care of by staff. That thread in the FB group seems to be the way to get it done.

Maybe they could but they seem to direct us there and you might want to bookmark that thread, I always have a hard time finding it.

Superlibrarians do not have the ability to make any edits to claimed author profiles.
