I'm pretty sure that this story was quite popular but I'm having trouble finding it. I don't remember the characters names but i do remember the plot.

I think I read this a year or 2 ago, but I think it was finished before then?

I dont quite remember the beginning but i think this is how it goes. The main character gets involved with a group of elite/populars and is caught between 2 boys. At the end she figures out that the two boys were playing a game with her and that the boys were actually in a relationships with each other. I think one of their names started with an (M)?

Other specific things that I remember off the top of my head is that one of the chapter's music was Ne Me Quitte Pas (i think sung by nina simone). And that one of the chapters had the main character hugging the main character in Paris and he whispers something in french. We later find out that he said something along the lines of "i won the game."

I remember that the author had a sequel to the novel. It wasnt from the point of view of the main character of the 1st book but some other girl at the school that was an underclassman.

Also I'm just adding this in here but im not quite sure if its from the same story. I think the group of popular boys ask her to be the main boy's fake girlfriend or something like that and thats how she gets involved. BUT it this does not match the story from the paragraphs above then I'm probably remembering wrong and just disregard this part.
