Romance Audiobooks discussion

This new challenge will help you reduce your TBR shelf and get to know some of our members better.

Here’s how it works
1. Each month we will randomly select a member to be our group focus.
2. The challenge will be to listen to at least two books from her/his shelf that are rated at least 4 stars and is on your TBR shelf (re-listens are acceptable).
3. Use the Goodreads compare tool to filter the ratings from high to low to make your selections easier.
4. The challenge will be from April 1 - April 30, 2018

The Julie James FBI series is good

I actually read book 2 years ago and enjoyed it. I always said I wanted to read them all. This challenge gave me the perfect opportunity to jump back in.

Yes I really enjoyed it up until the end when she was in her feelings about “Amanda”. Like she was being deceived or used 🤔, I wanted to say, Holland, correct me if I’m wrong but (view spoiler)[ did you marry him to help your uncle’s production? I know you had a crust on hi too but you kept saying you wanted to help your uncle. So you were using him too.

Yeah, (view spoiler)[it was a bit of drama I felt was more anger at herself than him. It was the start of her taking control of her life, sort of a wake up call. (hide spoiler)]

But why does working on yourself mean you can't open your mouth and communicate? that's what I didn't like. the radio silence but she has all these things running around in her head. Instead of getting answers, she just assumes stuff

It was actually consistent with the character. Annoying yes, but as long as it fit the character, worked for me.

I finished 4 of my 5. But I still plan of reading the autobiography of my favorite new comic Tiffany Haddish

Great job. You had to drop my book though :) just teasing.
