Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments With rage in her eyes, Celaena mentions that the King of Adarlan didn't leave many members of the Fenharrow royal family alive. Is it possible that she is a member of that family?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I was wondering that myself. There is definitely something going on there. She has a deep connection to what happen in Fenharrow and a deep hatred for Adarlan.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, her hatred for the King seem to go a lot deeper than simply being from the region that Adarlan conquered.

Lieke | 83 comments In the first story it was mentioned she hadn’t been to Orynth in 8 years (it is in the north), so I don’t think she is from Fenharrow. But I do think that there is more going on that we don’t know.

I think she’s got some repressed memories or is holding on to a secret. There’s definitely some bad feelings about what the King of Adarlan ruined.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 180 comments Once again I just skimmed this part. I am finding without more background or context I read and promptly forgot about her reaction to talking about the King. I'm sure once we get into the meat of the stories with the first full length novel more of these characters who have been mentioned but not actually in the stories will have more of an impact on me.

I think so too, Christina.
These novellas were originally written after the first couple of books in the main series, so I think that a lot more backstory will be forthcoming once we get to the full length novels.
