Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments The Mute Master knew of Ansel's deceptions all along. Does his reasoning with regard to not stopping her make sense to you?

Lieke | 83 comments I understand not stopping her immediately to give her a chance to tell it herself. But I would have expected him to have taken action by now.
And/or I would have expected him to be more cautious and don’t understand why she was doing the negotiations except maybe to win Berick with her beauty.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I also thought he let it play out for too long. Both he and his son could have been killed and others were killed.

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments Although he knew of her deception, do you think he thought she would go this far? I agree that he should have been more cautious and maybe had someone keep an eye on her.

I thought he waited too long and left himself vulnerable in the meantime. And, why in the world did he let her be the go-between for him and Lord Berich???!!
