Should Wyatt’s wife have had a clue about her husband’s activities? Was he that good at hiding everything?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments She didn't seem the curious type much....

He fooled an entire police department and his best friend. His poor wife didn’t stand a chance.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I agree with Charlene, she didn't want to know. They lived way to well on a cop's salary and he was gone a lot at odd times. She knew something was off, but didn't want to give up her nice lifestyle by raising any questions.

I thought they lived modestly, one of the reasons no one knew he was corrupt. He had all of that money in offshore accounts. That’s why he came back home...to get the passwords. They lived normally.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I thought their kids were in private schools, which doesn't necessarily mean one is well off, just not at the bottom of the pecking order.

I had the idea they lived in nice neighborhoods, with security and so on. That seemed more than an "average" policeman would have had unless his wife came from big money.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments Private school; wife doesn't work; nice, new cars; large home in nice neighborhood all say more than a single income can provide to me.

Yep and she probably didn't have a clue that people like Wyatt were out there. I think it does happen that spouses hide a lot from their partner.
