I need help finding a book and am hoping that this group can help me. I read it a long time ago and want to reread it and it is driving me crazy that I cannot remember what the title is.

Here are the things that I remember about the book:

It is historical. The hero is jealous and possessive. He is a manwhore before meeting the heroine. The hero sees her and thinks that the heroine is a prostitute. He has her taken to his room or someone sees her and thinks that he would like her. The hero gets drunk and forced seduction/rape occurs. She of course is not a lady of the evening but rather a virgin. He kidnaps her and takes her on his ship. Hot sexy times commence. She is sexually attracted to him and wants him but is understandably livid and tries to escape numerous times. Finally she succeeds. There is a separation whereas both are celibate. She starts a restaurant with another woman, possibly a salon girl/prostitute. Hero looses it and tries to find her. He is obsessed with finding her. After looking a long time the hero finds her. He grovels and will do anything to have her in his life. She might of had his child, I cannot remember. She eventually forgives him. The admit that they love each other HEA .
