I want to nominate

I want to nominate [bookcover:Mi..."
I am 1st on the holds at the library for Dead Girl Running!
I'd like to nominate:
1) The Woman in the Window
Anna Fox lives alone—a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times . . . and spying on her neighbors.
Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, a mother, their teenage son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble—and its shocking secrets are laid bare.
What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one—and nothing—is what it seems.
2) The One
How far would you go to find The One?
A simple DNA test is all it takes. Just a quick mouth swab and soon you’ll be matched with your perfect partner—the one you’re genetically made for.
That’s the promise made by Match Your DNA. A decade ago, the company announced that they had found the gene that pairs each of us with our soul mate. Since then, millions of people around the world have been matched. But the discovery has its downsides: test results have led to the breakup of countless relationships and upended the traditional ideas of dating, romance and love.
Now five very different people have received the notification that they’ve been “Matched.” They’re each about to meet their one true love. But “happily ever after” isn’t guaranteed for everyone. Because even soul mates have secrets. And some are more shocking than others…

Hey everyone, you can now nominate the non-LH (but similar) books you'd like to read in June with the group. You have through the 21st to share your nominations, I will then put up the poll! :)

I hope you liked it. I saw last week that you had read Forged in Ember and gave it 5 stars. I won it in a Goodreads giveaway and want to read the first three books in the series before I read it. I got Forged in Fire in the mail today, so will be starting it shortly. McCallan is a new author for me.
Wonderful suggestions! Nominations are now closed and the poll is up! :)

You've read it Cheri? It was good? That was one I bought for my Kindle and haven't gotten to yet. It sounds wonderful!

There is probably only a handful of her books that I didn't love. Check my reviews for all her books I've read :)

I love this series and am current but would love to participate in any discussion.

I have three confessions:
I’ve got the scar of a gunshot on my forehead.
I don’t remember an entire year of my life.
My name is Kellen Adams … and that’s half a lie.

That's pretty far along in the series - I'm still only up to Holiday In Death till now :( - but I'll put it in the poll as others might like to read it too. :)

Ooh! This has been on my wishlist for so long, though I don't think I'll be able to get a copy anytime soon. But I'll put it in the poll - it sounds incredibly dark and intriguing!

Its a good thing that all In Death series books can be read as stand-alones and all cases are wrapped up by the end of the current book. Better to read in order naturally, but I've been reading this series pretty randomly :D
