Nina | 449 comments I just set up a 2018 Classics Challenge as it seems that challenges are much loved, by some of us at least. The challenge runs from 01 January - 31 December 2018. You define which shelf will count towards your challenge, all books that are shelved as read on this shelf between those dates count towards the challenge. I, for example, have a general 'classics' shelf where all my read classics books are shelved. All books I add during 2018 will count towards my 2018 challenge.

When the challenge is created and when you join it doesn't matter. Any book you have put on the shelf that you define will count towards the challenge as long as you shelved it while the challenge was running. So, books you shelved earlier this year will still count towards the challenge.

In this thread you can keep track of your reads or plans for the challenge, you can share with others your thoughts or anything else related to the challenge.

Happy reading!

Steven Meyer I set my goal as 10. I don’t think I’ll read that many, but I’m really gonna try.

Steven Meyer Well, I’ve finished 11 books this year. But, unfortunately, they’re not classics. I’m working on the monthly read right now though.
