Hoyt escaped from prison because a nurse (after consult with a doctor) made the decision to opt for a transport with less security. To Jane’s point, why would two medical personnel have the power to override security for such a dangerous prisoner? Do you think this could happen in real life?

I agree that it seemed a little bit strange. Surely there would be some security procedures to be put in place for emergency medical situations.

He was a high risk prisoner. Surely it would have triggered some notifications higher up the food chain. I found it implausible that medical personnel could override security on their own, especially for the hospital’s protection.
