→ the first and consequently, last gods to exist. the primordials were before time as conceived by man and natural processes and were there to witness the dying out of the other deities. before the ages of man, before the glory of humanity, the gods thrived, and it was their near extinction that set the world as we know it into motion.
deities below them slowly died off via toxins in the ichor of their blood and for centuries they were reincarnated as humans over and over again, without any memory of their lives as gods and only the faintest traces of the power they once held in the palms of their hands.
for those long, torturous years, the primordials watched their descendants squander about aimlessly, isolated by the world around them and the dying embers at their cores just waiting to be ignited. finally, they decided to step in.
settling their petty qualms and pushing their differences aside, the primordials organized themselves in a council, with ther blood sweat, and tears, they built upon the foundations of that with which they'd lost and created an academy where they would teach the lost souls that did nothing but seek.
and so Deistic Academy began.
