Hockey-obsessed tomboy Eleanor Westley has never been the object of a guy's affection before. So when the hottest boy she's ever seen moves in across the street and starts treating her like she's the center of his universe, naturally she's going to be a little skeptical. But everything starts to make sense when girls who look just like Ellie start dying all around the city. Obviously the new guy is the killer, and of course he only likes her because he wants to slice her into tiny pieces. Right? The more Ellie gets to know Seth the more she's convinced he's a psychopathic killer. Problem is, he's the sweetest psychopathic killer she's ever met. Not to mention he's brutally hot. No matter how hard she tries, she can't help but fall for him. Will Ellie find true love, or will her summer of firsts turn out to be a summer of lasts?

Chapter 8 (view spoiler)[ Ellie is a little irritating. I do like that she's tough and can throw a good punch, but I think she's overreacting with Seth. Like, tone it down a little already. It was kind of creepy when he was talking about the killings, but she needs to just tell him that it creeps her out and she doesn't want to talk about it rather than scream at him and run away all the time. I don't think he's the killer either, that would be too obvious. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13 (view spoiler)[ I feel bad for Ellie that her first kiss was bad. Dave totally ruined it! I also feel kimd of bad for Seth, Ellie is pretty mean to gim. Although, he does do some pretty creepy things, like drag her to his room and keep her there. I don't think he's the killer, just really awkward. I wonder if the real killer is someone we know already? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 19 (view spoiler)[ The more it seems like Seth is the killer, the less I think it's him. Although, since Travis was attacked, it makes me wonder if we know the killer already. But is it really a teenager? Could it be Seth's aunt? (hide spoiler)]

Finished! (view spoiler)[ Okay, so I didn't pick up on Pierce being the killer until pretty late in the game. I knew it couldn't be Seth though. I'm glad Ellie and Angela were able to beat Pierce, go girls! I enjoyed this book, it was different than I thought it would be. (hide spoiler)]
