Santa Barbara Book Club discussion

I have never done a book club before. I would like to join you! Can someone please tell me how this works?

Book clubs all have their own flavor. This one is open to anyone and we meet at a public place (Java Station.) We generally meet the 3rd Monday of the month although we will be taking July off due to many members being out of town. We read the book and come to discuss it. How a new book is chosen: anyone who came to the meeting can bring a book (or book description) for consideration. We all vote to determine the next month's choice. We try to choose a book that is available at the library and is around 250 pages.

The June book is The Child Finder by Rene Denfeld. We'll meet 6/18 at 7:30. You are welcome to join us! Please let me know if you have any other questions. JudyAnn
