Father Daniel Brophy was high on Jane’s suspect list for awhile but was eliminated early. However, he and Maura seemed to have formed an unusual relationship. Your thoughts about this and the final scene between them in the church?

I don’t think so. She seemed to be saying goodbye, as that was her purpose in coming to the chapel. It was rather poignant.
