How's Part 2 treating you?

This was my favourite part of the series thus far.

Because Pierce Brown's prose isn't really to my personal tastes, and I'm not a Darrow fan, I tend not to enjoy being stuck listening to Darrow's thoughts. So for me the story works best when lots of dramatic stuff happens, when Darrow acts rather than contemplates / moans.

And this section had *a lot* of action / drama throughout. Everything happens fast, from the fight at the banquet onwards. Both the combat and the dialogue scenes (e.g. Darrow's meeting with the Sovereign) kept me hooked. Plenty of conflict and tension, both physical and verbal. Major plot events. And, unlike with the Institute stuff from the previous novel, it all felt very relevant to the universe and the mission.

yaaaaaaaaas....I love how much the world expands in book 2, and then continues expanding throughout the series :)
