Since we have had such a great interest in reviewing books, it seems like this would be a great time to discuss aspects of marketing and reviewing. This is not a topic just for authors, but also for readers to express what they want to see.

As a reader, my only outlet for learning about new books is from the internet, but I often see the same books over and over again. I also get turned off by negative reviewers or marketing that misses the point. In these discussions, I am hoping we can all learn from each other, to help our writers and readers learn how to find each other in positive and productive ways.

As Christians, we have a small market in which we need to promote and foster the continuation of good literature. Both writers and readers want and need good books. Having been part of Christian retail, I can tell you that we do not want to destroy or limit our writers, which is what is happening in the industry as Christian bookstore continue to go out of business. Please join the discussion as we encourage and grow each other in our God-given skills.
