Need some help, folks. This isn't my genre so I'm at a loss.
My "friend" is a highly educated woman in her late 20's. Adorable in her own right. A good person. She's involved with someone that's a philanderer and a con. I fear that because she isn't super thin, or as "pretty" as she thinks she should be, she believes that she has to settle for the first guy or any guy that will have her. She deserves so much more than this.
I may be misunderstanding your question. And this is an old school suggestion. The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman might help her to understand how she is best loved and then better informed about her needs.

Any advice on good books that she might read?
Thanks in advance!
