That's an interesting comment. Mitch Albom used to be my favorite newspaper columnist many years ago when I lived in Detroit. I absolutely loved his columns . . . but I've yet to read one of his books.

I've read a few Albom books but haven't read Five People yet. I think I remember the TV movie from years back. Jon Voight was in it, I think.

I have really enjoyed all of the Albom books that I have read so far. I find when I finish them I have that feeling that I want to strive to be a better person. I guess they just hit home about how you give to people in need in many ways.
