the disciplinary branch specifically reprimands students
their job is to take specific disciplinary actions and once the civil war starts, they'll begin actively searching for members of the "composition" - who are students working with a certain outside force that aims to do certain things that are... possibly evil - rebel stuff
they'll have a bigger role once the next step in the plot is revealed sometime tonight
