She tried to not close her eyes. She laid even more against him now.

Justin smiled and kissed her head. "You ok?"

She nodded, but that was kind of a lie. She hated the blood, and pain.

Justin kissed her head. "I'm right here."

She nodded, and closed her eyes breathing in and out deeply. They were in the room so she went over to the bed, and curled up tightly and buried her head in her knees.

Justin followed her. He wanted her to feel safe.

She didn't want to be touched right now, but she knew she needed the care.

"What's wrong baby?" Justin squatted down I'm front of her.

"It hurts." She whispered. She shut her eyes tight.

"Can I see?" Justin didn't want to make her made.

She stretched out, and moved her hand keeping her eyes shut.

Justin examined the wound. "Your hand isn't that bad."

She chuckled a little, "It's not my hand it's my stomach." She whispered.

"Let me see." Justin sighed. He didn't want her hurt.

She took off her shirt, and rolled up her tank. She kept her eyes shut.

Justin sighed. "A bullet grazed you. I can do stitches."

She nodded, and smiled a little.

Justin got out his stuff. He cleaned the wound and started to stitch it.

She winced at the cleaning, but she didn't mind the stitching. She looked at his eyes they were beautiful, and he was so delicate with his hands.

Justin kept his focus. He was used to stitching himself and other up.

She closed her eyes she really was tired.

Justin finished and kissed her head. He pulled her into his arms. He loved her.

She cuddled close to him resting her head on his chest. She drifted off to sleep.

Justin started to hum. She was adorable in her sleep.

She nudged his chest, and scrunched her nose. She remembers some parts of was happened hours before, but it was like a blur. Why was that Seeker looking for her? She wondered.

Justin brushed his finger through her hair. He didn't want anything to happen to her.

She squirmed a little at his hand, but it made her happy that he was with her.

Justin kissed her head. "I won't let anytging happen to you."

She opened her eyes, and looked up at him. "I know you won't." She whispered, and kissed him.

"You should get some sleep." Justin smiled at her.

She nodded, and pushed him down on the bed. She wiggled close to him, and rested her head on his chest. She closed her eyes, and drifted back off to sleep listening to his head beat.

Justin smiled and kissed her head. He wrapped his arm around her.

She snuggled close to him, and sighed. She would do anything in her power to protect him. Even if that meant giving herself to the Souls.

Justin hummed the lullaby his mom hummed when he was younger. He wanted to be with her.

She dozed off even more, but this time it turned into a nightmare. She was on an operating table going in and out of awareness. When she finally did come to she noticed she was strapped down. Justin was there with a sad look on his face. She had been possessed by one of them, but they wanted to take it out. She tightened her grip on his shirt as she started to tremble.

Justin brushed her hair. "It's ok baby." He kissed her head lightly.

Kat was still in the dream. He was telling her that it was the best thing for her, but she was thinking otherwise. She felt bad for the Soul. She trembled even more that it hurt. She didn't want the Soul to be taken out, but they were going to anyway.

"Kat, I'm right here." Justin kissed her nose. He wanted her to be ok.

She opened her eyes, but they had that glazed over look to them. "Don't kill it." She whispered. "They need a Host to live." She whispered.

"Kat, what you talking about." Justin's brows furrowed in confusion.

She looked over in the direction of the voice. "I can't believe you don't trust me. I know I made a mistake in following the Soul, but I did it to save you. Now you want to take it out?" She said.

"Why would you follow a soul?" Justin looked at her.

She looked at him, and closed her eyes again. She then fluttered them open they weren't glazed over anymore. "W-What happened?" She whispered not remembering anything.

"You aren't leaving the cave." Justin sighed.

"What....?" She was so confused.

"Just do as I told." Justin sighed.

She looked at him still confused, but nodded. She closed her eyes briefly as her resent dream replayed in her head. She snapped her eyes back open. She knew why now, but how would he know?

Justin kissed her head and hummed. He didn't want to talk anymore.

Kat rested her head on his chest, and smiled. She looked up at him kissing him deeply.
