And then there's Jahnna N. Malcolm, who is, in reality, a husband and wife who write together... which doesn't count....
Other than that, though... the only related authors I can think of are nonfiction religious authors. I'm specifically thinking of Gordon B. Hinckley and his wife Marjorie Pay Hinckley.

And I'm about to post a question about this pair, Nick Hornby and Robert Harris are (or were, not sure) brothers-in-law. Don't know whether in-laws are counted.
And certainly, the Amises: Kingsley Amis and Martin Amis
And the Rices: Anne Rice and Christopher Rice

Michael Chabon & Ayelet Waldman (husband/wife)
Dave Eggers & Vendela Vida (husband/wife)
Glen David Gold & Alice Sebold (husband/wife)

Ooooooh! That's what's called a discovery! Thanks Cait!
By the way, the woman in their lives, Tabitha King, is a writer too.

and I also found Alafair BurkeJames Burkefather and daughter
I wonder if there is a way to search this?

Good to know...I really wanted to read the new Pat Conroy book for this challenge!

I think Kristen Cast only ever wrote in collaboration with her mother, but it would work great for task #5.8
I think Donna Jo's looking for a book written by each author on their own.

Elizabeth Gilbert and Catherine Gilbert Murdock (sisters)

Aurora Bernardez and Julio Cortázar (wife/husband).
Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Shelley (husband/wife).
Mary Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft (daughter/mother).
F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda Fitzgerald (husband/wife).

George MacDonald Fraser and Caro Fraser (father/daughter)

Ooooooh! That's what's called a discovery! Thanks Cait!
By the way, the woman in their lives, [author:Tabitha Kin..."
Also, Owen King.

Iris Murdoch and John Bayley (married)
Virginia Woolf and Leonard Woolf (married)
Virginia Woolf and Leslie Stephen (daughter/father)

Woot wooot! Sorry, I get excited when people suggest my boys the Dumas'.

For this book co-authors do not count. The books should be separate.
I've also posted a list under Donna Jo's task, but feel free to use these other excellent suggestions.
