This was the other character in Fantastic Beasts that I struggled with, even though I absolutely LOVED the movie. Madam Picquery was meant to be a powerful female character... no nonsense, etc. But she kinda annoyed me with the number of times she said "we are exposed" or "it will mean war." It was a very blunt explanation of why Newt's beasts had to get back in the case, whereas in the past, we never needed someone to flat-out say "Voldemort will come back if this happens, and it will mean war." She was just too obvious!
And I didn't like how closed-minded she was! She was a stickler for rules and wouldn't budge AT ALL. She was kinda a bully to Tina, when Tina is ideally on her side... Picquery pushed away too many good people, when really if she is concerned about a war, she should want help from anyone willing to offer it. (E.g. She gets upset when Tina barges in on the meeting to tell her, a day later, about Newt, even though she completely kicked Tina out of her office the day before when Tina tried to tattle on Newt.)
