Chaol treats Aelin abominably throughout most of the book. They actually seem to bring out the worst in each other now. Thoughts on his treatment of her, his arguments and his reasoning, and the future of their relationship.

Chaol made me so mad throughout the whole book by the way he treated her. He seems to think that everything is her fault and that she should have all the plans needed to fix everything. He never gives her a break.
Chaol was such a hypocrite throughout most of the book. He blames Aelin for so many things that were out of her control and seems to have conveniently forgotten that he is the one who sent her away AND didn't want her to return. It is clear to me that whatever romance they once had is over and never making a comeback.
