Thanks, Alyson. Good luck with school. Sounds like you would be too busy to review the book. I know how that goes once the school work piles on.

I enjoyed this almost more than the first book, as I felt more emotional ties to Marcus. Í liked getting to know him better. There are several struggles in this book that are heart-wrenching. Especially the situation involving Amber's mom and Marcus. I really felt drawn into Amber and her situation with the case trial getting closer and the new developments that have emerged in the case. I like the candlelight vigil and charity basketball ideas. I think those were wonderful additions to the story. I liked the personal reveal that allowed Alejandro (and someone else) to realize they truly were not alone in the abuse that had occurred with Frank. Overall, just a super second book that enhances and expands the story.
