Discussion for "The Line (Witching Savannah, #1)"

I'm absolutely loving The Line at the moment. According to my kindle app I read 49% of the book in one night- but the book doesn't feel short at all. It's more like I've been sucked in. And I don't want to escape.

I can't waaaiiittt!!!

Finished this last night. The last fifth of the book kinda threw me (but not enough to deter me from devouring the second book in the series). Some of the twists I could see coming from the second chapter (but it wasn't bad- I felt it was a slow build = good) but some of them felt like they came from left field. There was no way for the reader to deduce some of them. I don't like that, personally.

I'm over halfway through it. I bought the audiobook and am loving it! Great narrator! It's nice to have something to listen to while I'm driving back and forth between my apartment and the house. Audiobooks are great for moving. I'm enjoying this so much that I bought the second book already lol

I downloaded the second book too! I've started it, but haven't gotten very far yet.

I have to say that I agree with you Deb about the random plot points at the end. I enjoyed this book and will definitely continue with the series, but there were some pretty big eye-roll moments. I liked (view spoiler)[ the bit about how Mercy was actually the most powerful of the two and that Maisey was actually getting her power from her, but I wanted Maisey to stay bad for longer. I wanted there to be a sister war lol maybe we'll get one in the next books, because I doubt she's gone for good (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, the bit about the ghost/imaginary boy was a WTF moment for me. And I agree about Maisey. There was an abrupt personality shift that left me reeling.
