Eunseo leaned against the wall, head bowed and hands loose at his sides. Class had just finished, and he figured that the students could be trusted to file out by themselves. He had a horrible headache, and he'd been struggling with it all week. There was only a thirty-minute gap between this class and the next one, but hopefully that would be enough time. His hair began to darken — subtly, still a long way from black — and his features changed, almost imperceptibly but just enough to be eerily different, something slightly more than human.

When he opened his eyes, they were dull gold, the hazel still somewhat present. He was walking a fine line, the balance between being fully Eunseo or fully Oberon, and every second the balance grew more and more strained. With recent events, the dark faerie part of him had been growing more and more restless, and it had always been the stronger of the two. But he didn't dare go any further than this — not in the school. Tomorrow's the weekend, he thought. I'll go out to the forest then. Be patient.

Oberon was not patient. He got it from his mother, the dark faerie blood in his veins. His eyes flickered for a moment, then the hazel vanished. He pushed off the wall, watching with satisfaction as ivy sprouted from the bricks and curled its way across the walls. He had missed the forest, the trees — and being free, being able to exercise his power.

The tremor had thoroughly shaken Taryn to the core. But it had shaken most everyone around him even more so. He wasn't questioning himself more than he already had for the past few months. If he were being honest, the only difference now was that he was more aware of his lusts and his carnal appetite, it burdened him, haunted him.

But more than anything, he was afraid of those around him. He wasn't powerful by any means, wasn't the kind of person that could fend off an attack from an angry dire wolf and his grumpy gay pack of broadway boys. Or some crazy bug witch. Or a snake dude. Point being, there were a lot of dangerous people at this school, and if he wanted to survive until graduation - well he'd need to get hard... Er.. Not in that way but... yeah.

He opened the door, fully aware that he was a little early for class and gazing out at the teacher. ".. Uh.." he spoke with the slightest bit of uncertainty, raising his brows.

He turned, eyes flickering in surprise. In normal circumstances, this would have been enough to trigger a shift back, but these were hardly normal circumstances. "What?" Cold, matter-of-fact. Then, under his breath, "Might provide a bit more padding for the poor things when they fall over." Oberon didn't continue staring at the boy — no need to scare the kid, he wasn't being malignant — but instead moved towards the door, watching as the ivy trailed after him like a pet dog. God, he'd forgotten how annoying the stuff could be.

"Why are you here, when class isn't for another half an hour?" he clarified, trying not to seem too impatient. He could practically hear his father nagging him — Don't be so mean, he's just a kid, this is why nobody likes you — until it occurred to him that it could just be the light faerie side waiting to regain control.
