Part One -

I burst through the double doors of the mall and entered the lobby. I ran to the escalator, desperate to get away. Jogging up it, I maneuvered my way through the bodies who stood idly on the steps. I glanced back to find two men in black suits running up the escalator that went down. I smiled at their stupidity, and kept going.

I bobbed-and-weaved my way through the crowd. I jumped over a baby carriage, ducked under a couple holding hands and dodged past pedestrians. They kept getting in my way, slowing me down. Walking in and out of stores, blacking my path...decreasing the distance between me and THEM.

I had to get away, I had to go. I knew they wouldn't DARE to make their move in public, with all the civilians around. I though I had lost them in the sea of faces when I felt a firm grip fixate onto my wrist, yanking me back. I prepared to fight, and was about to bring my fist down on my attacker, only to stop when I became face-to-face to a security guard.

I struggled and fought back, in an attempt to get free. It was hopeless, the commotion caused by me getting man-handled by the security drew the attention of my pursuers. The security guard smiled as they approached... Could he be one of THEM?
