Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments When the world, leaves you feeling blue
You can count on me, I will be there for you
When it seems, all your hopes and dreams
Are a million miles away, I will re-assure you

We've got to all stick together
Good friends, there for each other
Never ever forget that
I've got you and you've got me, so

Reach for the stars
Climb every mountain higher
Reach for the stars
Follow your hearts desire
Reach for the stars
And when that rainbow's shining over you
That's when your dreams will all come true

There's a place waiting just for you
Is a special place where your dreams all come true
Fly away, swim the ocean blue
Drive that open road, leave the past behind you
Don't stop got to keep moving
Your hopes have got to keep building
Never ever forget that
I've got you and you've got me, so

Reach for the stars
Climb every mountain higher
Reach for the stars
Follow your hearts desire
Reach for the stars
And when that rainbow's shining over you
That's when your dreams will all come true

Don't believe in all that you've been told
The sky's the limit you can reach your goal
No-one knows just what the future holds
There ain't nothing you can't be
There's a whole world at your feet
I said reach

Climb every mountain
Reach
Reach for the moon
Reach
Follow that rainbow
And your dreams will all come true

Reach for the stars
Climb every mountain higher
Reach for the stars
Follow your hearts desire
Reach for the stars
And when that rainbow's shining over you
That's when your dreams will all come true
Reach for the stars
Climb every mountain higher
Reach for the stars
Follow your hearts desire
Reach for the stars
And when that rainbow's shining over you
That's when your dreams will all come true
Reach for the stars
Climb every mountain higher

This was my primary Year 6 leaver song. The memories gives me tears.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments When the world is leaving you feeling blue. You must count on those who love you and they will never be apart. When it seems like all your hopes and dreams are a faraway there is no point in giving up. It is important we all unite as one. If we don't we will be enemies and good things always comes. Never ever forget that we've got each other.

You have gates open for your opportunities. Don't give up on what you dream of because it will come to you. You might take a chance and you must do what you do best. And forget what people think of you. Do not cry to not tear. Walk away on your wide road and forget whatever made you feel guilty. We can't change the past. Never give up because it is not an option. You said you'll do it so do it. Keep on dreaming. Never ever forget that we are counting on you.

Don't always believe in all that you've been told. Just believe in yourself. The sky is the limit and you still have chance to live. We are not all psychic and we cannot predict the future. You can be whatever you want to be. It is time you stand up to you feet and say 'I can do this'. Because somewhere deep inside you says you can.

You can even climb mountains. You can fly to the moon. You can walk on top of the rainbow, So reach your goals.
your dreams will all come true

You once was a star so become one of the stars. Even when the mountain is to high, even when the moon is far away, even when the rainbows too light. Follow your hearts and mind. And see yourself shine. And your dreams will all come true.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments Introduction to Business Information Systems

Overview
The first part of the course looks at the transformations in contemporary organisations and the strategic and operational decisions in managing IS in organisations. In particular, we shall see how some organisations have centred themselves around their information systems and highlight critical issues in the debates regarding the use of information technologies in organisations including the competitive advantage they may provide. The second part of the course provides a view of state-of-the-art enterprise systems applications, and social networking and Web 2.0 tools and discusses how they are integrated into business life and used to improve organisational performance. The third part focuses on green IS/IT and green business practices and sustainability.

Aims
Information Systems (IS) are at the heart of every business and pervade almost every aspect of our lives. This course unit is designed as an introduction to the subject of Information Systems and their role in business organisations. Information Systems are treated in this course within the context of the social sciences, offering students a management and organisational perspective on the role of IS in business and how they are managed. This one semester course is not technically –orientated but designed to show how information systems are conceived, designed, implemented and managed in contemporary organisations. We will adopt a process approach in the course unit.
Learning outcomes
On completion of this course, successful students will have:
- Familiarity with much of the terminology of IS
- Insight into the role of IS in organisations
- Knowledge of the major types of IS in organisations
- Knowledge of several case studies in IS development and implementation
- Awareness of the risks and challenges of developing IS in organisations
- Ability to evaluate concepts critically and apply them to problems.

The tutor will provide you with feedback within 15 working days of handing in your essay and provide you with the opportunity to discuss your work in a final tutorial.

We will provide advice and discussion during lectures and tutorials.

We will provide responses to students’ emails and questions

We will monitor your views about the course at approximately half way through the semester using a custom-designed questionnaire. The results of this questionnaire will be fed back in the next available class and posted on Blackboard and where possible, adjustments will be made to the course unit content.

General feedback will be provided following the examination on how each question was answered. This will be reported using the course unit blackboard space.

Changes to the course unit are made each year based on the feedback provided by the students and in line with new business developments in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).

This song puts me in tears and it brings all the memories that I had when I was in Primary School which I can never forget. I remember Greenfield from when I first started it. I can never forget a single thing.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I miss the past where it was all good. I have to admit even though I didn't have good upbringing I know that I loved it better when I was a kid and all things was everything I loved. I wish I had a time machine. When I look back I wonder where all that time went. It is really wonderful and magical feeling. I think I was more happy when I was younger. I felt the warmth more.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments The blue one is Sky
The green one is Brandon
The magenta one is Riven
The violet one is Nabu
The teal one is Timmy (couldn't find a yellow coloured shirt)
The black one is Helia (couldn't find an orange coloured shirt)

At least the shoes go well with their signature colour.

Sky is the leader of his friends and is the main protagonist and really cares for his friends. His aspiration is travelling and culture. He loves sports and loves to try authentic foods.

Brandon is an outgoing guy. He stands out from his friends. He loves romance and is romantic. He loves to cook and makes tasty meals.

Riven is rude tough guy. He is grumpy and hot headed. He loves music, especially rock. He has desire for cars and vehicles. He works out all day. He isn't as friendly but they love him because he has a soft centre.

Nabu is who you'd describe as the father of the group. He is really mature and wise. He is open-minded and gives good advice. He has interests in law, geography, history and religious studies. He is spiritual. Not only that he is the oldest of his friends so they usually lookup to him.

Timmy is a techie and is really smart. He is drawn mostly in science. He always gets the highest grade in class. He'd be a sort of person who'd always keep their nose in the book. Knowledge is important to him.

Helia is the quiet and introverted guy. He is really sweet and friendly. He is interested in art and loves to draw. He is also helps to defend nature and participates in charities to support them. He believes he doesn't stand out from his friends which worries him. He is a vegetarian, who used to be a vegan but realised that milk was a gift given from the cows.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments Imagine this:

It's a reality TV. A group of 16 people of 16 different personalities living in a large, fancy 8 bedroom house together.

The housemates have to survive for 50 days and cannot leave outside. They may can hang around the front yard or the backyard but cannot leave outside.

Everyday the housemates would have to complete a task. It is against eviction. Viewers have the power to vote a member off.

Camera's are everywhere apart from the bathroom. The house has a special room called the confession room. Where the housemates can express themselves towars the viewers.

The house consists of 6 floors.

You have got the basement, the cellar, the ground floor, the first, the second floor and the attic.

The attic has secrets stuff. Both the second floor and first floor are exactly identical. They both have 4 bedroom for 2, a bathroom and a shower. The ground has a living room, dining room, kitchen, storage, and the confession room.

The producers and workers provide food for them, and help with accommodation.

Would you like to meet the housemates?

Note that it based off 16 personalities types. I always wanted to know what it'd be like if all 16 lived together.

INTJ, INTP, ENTJ, and ENTP will have their bedroom on the second floor on the left.

INFJ, INFP, ENFJ, and ENFP will have their bedroom on the second floor on the right.

ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTJ, and ESFJ will have their bedroom on the first floor on the left.

ISTP, ISFP, ESTP, and ESFP will have their bedroom on the first floor on the right.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments When I was little I had to be independent and do things myself. My parents were not good at speaking English back then. And my older sibling wasn't much help either.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I felt much more safer and more independent when I was at school than I was at home.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments My family were not the best people to be brought up with. They were very abrupt and argumentative and I would mostly shy away from them. ~I hated my father and her was abusive. He was divorced from my family and I am glad. But I still have my mother...

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I had to do things myself in terms of education and I got on so well at school. Because I was away from home. I loved reading books about dinosaurs and I loved playing with the figures and that is how I grew with science. I surprised my relatives when I was little when I told what I knew about dinosaurs. Even my classmates at school were impressed. It just got to me. And I just wanted to know things.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I fell in love with Science from the start of Year 1. I also liked my other subjects too. I always tried to take a bit of everything when I was little and I focused on my subjects more than I did with anything else. I always liked my lessons and it was really important to me. Even the subjects I didn't like. Even them I had to focus on. This helped me to develop long term memory skills. I can pick a lot of things that I had when I was 6 years old.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments To me I put Education before anything. I always held the motto: Learn Before You Earn. Without learning I wouldn't go anywhere. I won't gain things that I didn't know about. I still hold that motto.

message 36: by Mystic Orange (new)

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments The only thing that I had to focus on was my education and that is what I could only think of when I was little.

message 37: by Mystic Orange (new)

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments You may say that I had I had really good set of friends back then. But I didn't really needed them. I didn't really hang around with anyone. The only time had to hang with them is my classroom. Friends were not important to me because they would use you. But who else could I interact with anyway. I would probably hang with the ones that use me anyway since none of them were of my league.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments Most of my classmates were into sports and I wasn't. My school had mostly Asian people like me and there weren't that much of people of different race. There were only few that were English and few that were Caribbean.Sop there weren't much openness of variety of people in my class. I like a class when there is a variety of people not just the ones of just your own race. I was bored with having to hang with just of my own Ethnicity. I have to admit there were actually more Bengalis than there were other ethnicity. Greenfield was a school of mix cultures but parents of different ethnicity must have overlooked them.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments My mum has depression too and she would constantly would be shouting and I would really hate it and I had to be in my room studying because it kept me going.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I am interested on education and all education and I would look into education of different origins. I am able to judge things and able to compare.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I currently study in college of 4 A-level courses: Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Sociology. At start I was doing Physics instead of Sociology. But then I wanted to drop it because I would prefer if I learned it independently. Much so, I would study subjects that I can't pick (because I can only pick 4) independently. I am still independent learner of most subjects. I would mostly look into subjects of the AQA exam boards. Because it is my favourite exam board. AQA to me is more organised and it is more linear than the other subjects. I now have ordered a lot of AQA Textbooks incase some subjects don't follow on to the future. There are few subjects that won't be taught in the future e.g. A-level Anthropology.

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments I imagined how it would be like managing a radio station.

If I had a radio it would be called The Friendly Radio Cave. The category would be a social.

The Radio will be from Greater Manchester, UK and it would be broadcasted across the country

Mystic Orange (Rumell) (rkrespectedmember) | 1488 comments For every day from 6:00am to 6:59am must have a Welcome Section. And the Welcome section will be the starter of the day. It is basically like a breakfast show. We'll have things to start us off. The first quarter of the show will keep update on what will be happening throughout the day. The second quarter the presenters will just chat about whatever is popping up. The third quarter will be News Updates on what is happening across the UK and also what is happening in Manchester. Plus there will be info in Weather and Sports. The last quarter is where the presenters will be putting music on for us to hear.
