I requested last week for this series "book" entry to be deleted, since the books are not published as a bundle and are already entered correctly under the proper book records. One deletion happened right away, but this record is still hanging around.

Edition w/ ISBN10 (to which ISBN13 moved) had cover auto-uploaded by amazon_kcw on May 20, 2015.

Dup edition (from which ISBN13 removed) had cover manually uploaded on May 24, 2015.

I also included change comment re: confirmed which cover was correct & added URL to publisher (in case my having a physical copy wasn't sufficient).

FYI, 'different' cover doesn't mean *correct* cover.

Y'all can decide behind the scenes whether amazon_kcw's auto-upload + publisher's website page outweighs a manual upload.

#7/25 Please note that most recent cover doesn't mean it was the only cover used with this ISBN (or ASIN).
Goodreads policy is to keep all published cover editions, and if there is no conclusive data available it is not for us to pick and choose what we think is best; we still need to follow the policy.
Deletion of the different cover edition would be against Goodreads policy.

Where did I use the phrase 'most recent'? Did you even look & compare dates to PB pub date?

Stating 'no conclusive data' is weak. But I refuse to get into another pissing contest on this thread. I posted what seemed to be relevant info & ended by saying decision up to you (whether specifically or generally).

At least I don't have to correct cover for my DTB.

As per Goodreads manual:
Goodreads considers the following to be valid book records:
(...)
* forthcoming books with only partial information
* books withdrawn from publishing if enough information was ever provided to make a book record a useful resource

Furthermore librarians are not allowed to delete books form the database.
If an author want's to have the work that was never published removed they would need to contact support.
