Chapters 1-3
This is a different and strange read for me. I guess the most I can relate it to is the movie, "Hello, My Name is Dorris". If anything, it did make me read on and on and kept me interested.

Chapters 4-6
I wanna know what happened. It's clear she is afraid of her Mummy and at the same time, she talks to her regularly-perhaps mainly beacuse she is alone herself. She has also taken on a lot of things from her Mummy.
What happened?
On the other side, the singer thing seems like a far cry, but Raymond and Eleanor seems likely to happen.
She's judgy most of the time, especially about looks and appearance of others which is amusing at times and annoying sometimes.
About social skills, well I agree 50% with her, but she herself needs to polish her conversation skills. She is too outragious at times.

Chapters 7-9
She misses a parental figure in her life. She's never had someone truly care for her, to show her kindness and embrace her with warmth. It's just a feeling I get from her.

Chapter 10
I didn't think she'd say she's ready to declare her intentions to the musician. I thought she'd say that she'll try to socialise more, talk to more new people too.
She's cute. Sometimes, she seems like a little girl herself. Maybe she is a grown women only on the outside.

Yeah me too. Yes, I believe Raymond is the key. As she said, she least expects him to be anyone.
I thought the first 10 chapters were interesting. And yeah I agree, there is something that she's afraid of, she seems to have a strange relationship with her mummy
Strange how she still calls her mummy too, it's like she's still living the past, afraid and insecure at times. I really want to know what happened during the fire incident, perhaps her mother had to be involved somehow ?
Eleanor reminds me a lot of Holden Copperfield from "The Catcher in the Rye". He was always so judgemental and realistic, always questioning why people did things that's normal but never questioned. I'm starting to like Eleanor, but yes she can be a bit annoying, especially her conversations!

Yeah I guess she had to be involved. And I feel like Eleanor is the reason she's in jail. Idk.
I haven't read "The Catcher in the Rye" yet. Maybe in this month's Sprint, I'll get a chance :)

Probably, there has to be a reason why she doesnt visit her instead
Haha yes, I know that many people didn't like the book and I'll admit I didn't either but after a reread I enjoyed it more with a new perspective:)
