Hello all! This is actually the one who created this group....a long time ago. Before I fell off the face of the Earth and yeah. That's a long story. I am so happy that this group has grown into way more than I ever imagined it would be.
But right now, I need your help. I am currently in the midst of putting together book proposals for my novel, and I have come face to face with a living nightmare: marketing plans. Most publishers require me to list a few books (and comparisons) that are like mine. Problem is, I wrote this book because I couldn't find many books like it out there.
But I figured I'd ask everyone about this. The book is young adult, though it can function as a normal novel as well, Christian, and it deals with physical and sexual abuse, foster care, and drug addiction. (Dark stuff, but God put it on my heart to write it, so I listened.) If anyone knows of any books that are similar to that description in any way, let me know. I would greatly appreciate it. :)
