Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

When I started on my Goodreads journey, I gave my author name periods inbetween the R and G.

I would like to change author name to RG Long so that my books find their way to me without incident.

It is Goodreads policy to have periods between initials, so your name should stay as it is.

I suppose my next question is why do my books get uploaded without initials?

They are probably imported that way from Amazon. You should make sure your name is correctly formatted there.
