My son and I were at a local Beefeater pub today. On every table was a leaflet with a number of games and puzzles. Answer the puzzles correctly to be in a chance to win ... something or other.
This is how it works. The clues are three words. You have to think of a single word which can be added to the front of the back to make a new word or a clearly identifiable phrase. So your clues might be ... Head, house and street. The answer to that one would be light - headlight, lighthouse and streetlight.
After we had answered all of the official questions, we started making our own up. These started to get rather silly, as you would expect from a 13 year old boy and his dad when Mum's away
The challenge was to take it in turns to come up with a challenge. If the other person works it out they can set you a challenge in return.
Here's an easy one to start us off ... stuff, chocolate, dog
