Ch. 8 (view spoiler)[ This is interesting so far, but mostly I'm confused by everything that's happening. It's going so quickly and I'm just like wait what?? Apparently Daniel's twin brother is not dead. And the drug leader dude is dead. So why did carter give her this job? Was it really just to get rid of her? Why do they even want to get rid of her? I think her research with the antibody sounded interesting, but I also don't think it would've ever worked since that's not really how antibodies work in the first place?? Using lactic acid to cause muscle cramps was pretty smart tho (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 18 (view spoiler)[ Glad something is happening after the lull of them teaming up. I definitely feel the tension, but I'm not super invested in this spy story. I can clearly see that Alex has the unique skill set, but besides defending herself she hasn't really done anything impressive. I wish she was the one out in the field rather than Kevin. The romance between Alex and Daniel is cute but eh. Everything is just kind of eh at this point (hide spoiler)]

I binged this on the 8th and forgot to take notes as I went :/ I'll do my best to reiterate my thought process

25%(view spoiler)[ I had a feeling that Daniel wasn't who Alex thought he was the whole time. This poor dude was tortured and he didn't do anything wrong. (hide spoiler)]

50% (view spoiler)[Okay Kevin is a bit of an ass but his character is making this so much more enjoyable. I'm not a huge fan of the Stockholm Syndrome romance happening between Alex and Daniel. (hide spoiler)]

75% (view spoiler)[I like the action parts of this story. Especially seeing the dogs in action. Kevin has trained these dogs to perfection. I hope the dog with the injured leg will be okay :( (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ Okay this was decent overall, but I felt like the government/conspiracy aspect wasn't completely fleshed out. Some of the jumps in logic Kevin and Alex made didn't feel completely realistic. (hide spoiler)]

So, typical romance spy plot line. Evil government hires ex-spy/ agent/ etc. and ex-agent falls in love with person they're supposed to torture. That part isn't too terribly exciting. I kind of saw the brother twist coming based on Daniel's reactions to the photos. I'm hoping there are some exciting twists and turns coming up...
