Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments When book lovers get together, they often suggest books to other people. And in the same vein, the chances are that if someone else in the group is looking for something specific, at least one of the other members may have read a book they could recommend.

I was looking for a thread along those lines in the SRC discussions, but couldn't spot anything, so I thought I'd kick one off.

Can anyone recommend a good biography of Emily Dickinson? I keep coming across references to her poetry and letters in the (far too many) cozy mysteries I read, especially the ones set in New England, and I'm reading and enjoying her poetry for the Fall 2018 challenge. But I don't really know that much about her.

Dee (austhokie) | 8947 comments it seems based on some of the reviews that there aren't any true good ones - my library has this one: My Wars Are Laid Away in Books: The Life of Emily Dickinson but reviews aren't too good and say she still remains a mystery
