James Morcan | 11378 comments As mentioned, brainwaves are a crucial part of accelerated learning techniques. It’s proven that when individuals move out of normal waking brainwaves (beta) into other brainwaves (alpha, theta, delta and gamma) they enter the ideal state in which to absorb new information. Whether the learning is analyzing complex equations, or memorizing facts, or becoming an expert in martial arts, it makes no difference.

Our children at the Pedemont Orphanage use brainwave generators and biofeedback machines to reach optimal frequency for study. This method of altering the mind is known as brainwave entrainment.

Gamma brainwaves, which are the highest frequency brainwave, are held in high regard at the orphanage. As we wrote in The Orphan Factory: “The children performed mind photography in uncommon brainwaves for regular wakeful consciousness. In this case it was predominantly gamma waves, and it allowed them to tap into the genius of their subconscious minds.”

Besides being present while learning languages or forming new ideas, Gamma waves are also vital for recalling memories. And the faster the gamma brainwave, the faster the memory recall is – yet another advantage in doing things at speed.

James Morcan | 11378 comments Here's some more of my scribblings on this subject of brainwave entrainment:

A common goal in most brainwave entrainment technologies or techniques is hemispheric synchronization. This ideal state occurs when the right and left hemispheres of the brain become harmonized or in synch and share similar or identical brainwaves. Studies have shown that when individuals have both hemispheres operating in similar brainwaves like this these individuals are far more likely to learn and digest new information.

Furthermore, from such studies it is also apparent that most high IQ individuals or those we would describe as geniuses have their brain hemispheres in synch more often than the average person.

In some cases this is a form of conscious self-programming where the genius is fully aware of the ideal brain state he/she needs to be in to perform complex mental feats – and also has the ability to guide themselves into hemispheric synchronization.

In many other cases, however, it is just a fortunate skill they have been born with and the genius is completely unaware of the fortunate tendency of their brain that they have inherited. Geniuses who lived in times prior to the invention of EEG equipment and the discovery of specific types of brainwaves – such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – would likely fit into this category.

Some modern brainwave technologies used to achieve hemispheric synchronization include biofeedback machines, purposefully designed audio recordings (such as binaural beats, monaural beats and isochronic tones), as well as hypnagogic light and sound machines (e.g. the Lucia Light http://lucialight.com/).

James Morcan | 11378 comments Another impressive technology that has been shown to significantly alter brainwaves and put users in the ideal state for learning is Dr. Patrick Flanagan’s Neurophone.

Invented in 1958 when Flanagan was only 13 years old, the Neurophone is a US patented electronic nervous system excitation device that transmits sound to the brain through the skin and via the nervous system.

The invention earned Dr. Flanagan a profile in a 1962 edition Life magazine (while still in his teens!). Life referred to him as a “unique, mature and inquisitive scientist”. His website mentions Falanagan “has continued to develop the neurophone and it is currently being sold as an aid to speed learning.”

James Morcan | 11378 comments Some ideas I've had lately on brainwaves and drug usage...

I actually think the basic or underlying motivations for drug use are very sound. I don't believe we are meant to exist all day every day in ordinary consciousness (beta brainwaves). As mentioned in Genius Intelligence, beta brainwaves can be useful for left-brained logical thinking and hard analysis, but they are also are a recipe for high stress and mediocrity. It's like how one famous poet (Arthur Rimbaud?) centuries ago wrote about how you need to "derange the senses" to truly understand life. I assume that meant getting out of regular waking consciousness and into other states.

So those who take drugs are wanting to get out of the high-stress, dull and uncreative brainwave - whether they are conscious of that reason or not.

Original ideas usually come from either the hyper/manic Gamma brainwave state (which uppers like speed, amphetamine, cocaine etc can get one into) or else the trance-like and slower states of consciousness of Alpha, Theta and Delta brainwaves (which downers take you to straight away, especially opiates but also Pot which is a partial downer although not 100% a downer).

Also, if you study history, people were freer in ancient times and older civilizations allowed their citizens to go into trance more regularly (whether via dance or music or sex or drugs or whatever) and therefore enter into non-beta brainwave states. Now we are VERY restricted and so for many drugs are the obvious way to attempt to alter brainwaves and "tune out".

Some of this may explain why most drug users are deeper thinkers. I'm generalizing, but that's my observation.

However, I am personally only interested in achieving those same (altered) states of consciousness entirely without drugs...Now in the 21st Century there are plenty of ways to get the same or better result than drugs whether via certain technologies (such as hypnogagic machines or Patrick Flanagan's Neurophone) or other avenues like floatation tanks or advanced Yogic meditation techniques etc.

There are sooooo many ways to "derange the senses" besides drugs ;)

Science has for ages claimed that we use just 10-12% of our brains, but later science that is not as widely known is that they were dead wrong, since they were just not measuring or had knowledge of the type of activity that the rest is occupied with.
On this site quite some interesting things are written, and links to follow.

 B. Sinsational (bsinsationalx1f339) | 40 comments This can be of great interests..

Quote:
"Did you ever wonder why most people experience such fascination with the flickering lights of an open campfire or feel naturally drawn in to the pulses and rhythms of a community drum circle? New advances in neuroscience research offer new perspectives. It isn’t the heat the fire exudes that draws us in, nor the mere talents of the musicians but rather what brain
researchers refer to as the brainwave entrainment effect. As we gaze into the fire our eyes become fixated almost mesmerized by shifting colors and the dancing and shifting movements. As we hear the repetitive synchronistic beats of the drum, a similar simultaneously parallel process is occurring in our brain. All sensory information, except for smell, must pass through the thalamus in order to gain access into other brain regions. Audio, visual and tactile stimulation all excite potentials within the thalamus and are loosely known as brain wave entrainment. Ancient cultures through chanting, drumming, the sweat lodge, and ceremonial dances around open fires were often able to achieve transcendent meditative states. Few I assume begged their local medicine man for a prescription for Prozac, for what they were experiencing naturally aligned and restored brain function. AVE or audio visual entrainment is the high tech equivalent of what ancient shamans have known for thousands of years. The ancient secret is that the correct combination of sound and light can lift the mood and heal the mind and spirit.
This entrainment effect is achieved through the use of devices loosely referred to as "meditation machines”. Using light and sound pulses only, pulsed light is presented to the meditator via a pair of glasses with an array of flashing LEDs lights mounted within them. Pulsed tones are presented through a pair of headphones. In order for entrainment to occur, a repetitive stimulus of the proper frequency and sufficient strength to “excite” the thalamus must be present. The transmission of energy from AVE excites retinal cells in the eyes and pressure sensitive cilia in cochlea of the ears. The nerve pathways from the eyes and ears carry the evoked potentials
into the thalamus. The thalamus which acts as a relay station in the brain distributes these potentials throughout a variety of brain regions.
This all sounds a bit complicated maybe even a bit “Star Trek-like” to some, but simply put sound and light gives your brain the literal tune up it needs. Drawing on an analogy, your brain operates like a tuning fork. It vibrates when it is active and when you are relaxed the vibration slows. Following this pattern, a depressed person’s brain or “tuning fork” would not vibrate or oscillate at sufficient frequency levels, while an overly anxious person’s brain would vibrate at abnormally high levels. The AVE device or "meditation machine" acts like an outside tuning fork for the brain. If it is struck at a particular frequency the brain will match that frequency. This is what is meant by the entrainment effect. A simple demonstration proves the principle. Take two tuning forks leave one at rest strike the other one about eight inches from the
second. Soon enough the resting tuning fork will begin to vibrate with the same frequency as the first.
Recent breakthroughs in psychiatric neuroscience have lead researchers to conclude that depression along with most mental health maladies have an abnormal brain wave “signature.” AVE devices, through the entrainment effect have tremendous potential to help treat stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD, attention deficit disorder, fibromyalgia and cognitive decline. Although most readers may be unfamiliar with such devices they are not new to the scene and an accumulating body of substantial and credible research can no longer be ignored.
Experienced meditators and mindfulness practitioners have long known the positive impact of meditation, yoga, and Ti Chi on mood and mental clarity. For the average person commitment to daily meditation practice or yoga is curtailed by the length of time it often takes to reap the maximum benefits. Novice mediators are instructed to sit quietly and repeat a silent tone or mantra over and over again until they begin to drift into a more relaxed state of consciousness. Unfortunately for many the daily stressors they experience produce intrusive thoughts that disrupt their flow and focus and before long they abandon meditation in exchange for the immediate relief provided by the physician’s prescription pad.
In fact statistics published by the National Institute for Mental Health estimate that 26.2 percent of Americans ages 18 and older — about one in four adults — suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year.1 When applied to the 2004 U.S. Census residential population estimate for ages 18 and older, this figure translates to 57.7 million. According to a study last year by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), many Americans visit their primary-care physicians and may walk away with a prescription for an antidepressant or other drugs without being aware of other evidence-based treatments. In fact the use of psychotropic drugs by adult Americans increased 22 percent from 2001 to 2010, with one in five adults now taking at least one psychotropic medication, according to industry data. In 2010, Americans spent more than $16 billion on antipsychotics, $11 billion on antidepressants and $7 billion for drugs to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Psychotropic drugs are valuable tools in treating many mental health disorders, but inappropriate prescribing can cause serious harm and unnecessary side effects."

 B. Sinsational (bsinsationalx1f339) | 40 comments The key to happiness - Ill tell you where it is..
Most human beings search all their life for the total untainted happiness that their souls yearn for. To fullfill a dream, and thereby achieve this illusive state. Various ways and means are persued to try to achieve this: Thru purchases, career building, dating, money, or/and other means. But it is always illusive and seem to be just around the corner, even if a goal is fullfilled its still is just a temporary joy.
Unfortunately relativly soon the tugging for the search of happiness resumes.

Be aware of the danger:

This is where a great danger lies, especially for people who has the dream of hitting it big within their area of focus. Musicians, authors, artists, inventors, and all creative people in general are very clear examples but it applies to everyone just less publically visible in your avarage population. Once a great goal or dream is fullfilled, regardless of how big it is, it only gives happiness and a feeling of fullfillment for a limited time. This is why many creative people (more senitive) after reaching their goal seem to loose their footing and perishes or becomes selfdestructive. The bigger the goal and dream they have achieved the more difficult they experience the time after its glow if happiness fades.
This happens to everyone. But there is a difference. Where do you go after reaching the very top? Thats what they face, and since they fail to find a new dream/goal they perishes. Making a new goal when your not at the very top is easier, and achievable.

Knowledge is the way:

Understanding how the brain works enables a person to utilize this as a method to achive this illusive state.
Brain entrainment when applied in this direction is extraordinarily powerfull and remarkable.
First thing: One has to be aware of is that subconciously we have trained our brains to see the flaws, lacks, short commings, trouble etc that is in our path. We need to be aware of this, since it is a long time training implemented subconciously every day, at all times.
Second thing: Our brains file things that we experience, see, smell etc in a very specific way, and allows us access to these "files" of memory either based on deliberate search, que-words, smell, or subconcious triggers.
Third thing: We need to be aware of is that the mind applies filters when looking back. It doesn't file all details of things in our surroundings, especially things we are not trained to see, its filtered away as useless information. Second filter that is applied is perspective either thru time, distance or emotional withdrawing.

The key to lasting happiness:

Using the knowledge previously mentioned to our benefit is the easiest way. Achieving goals is not the sollution, neither are achievements or possesions.
Ill explain this in a way that is easy to envision:
Your standing on a path and it lays clearly and visibly in front of you. Sun filters thru the surroundings and leaves a pattern of light and shadow (similar to a leopards dots or a zebras stripes).
We are trained to see the dark patches, but by a deliberate choice to focus on the bright patches, noting as much as possible about them, skipping over the dark patches and continuing just to focus on the light parts, it may sound easy but the mind does what it is trained to do and you will find it slipping back to the dark patches.
If there is no bright spots then CHOOSE to change perspective on the less dark parts, not seeing them as is a dark patch but to seing them as a means to achieve something positive.
Examples: In a mixed bright/dark situation, focus solely on the positive and bright. The happiness, joy, smells, emotions, smiles etc

(In a dark/even darker (negative) situation): For instance a time of economic hardship/unemployment: Choose to take it as a good reason to perhaps start small projects you wanted to do choosing to see that it has finally come a time when you have time to do this. Or clear out unused unnecessary objects and have a garage sale or similar seeing what a great time to declutter and get some money, or choose to jump on a course or education, there are a lot of free ones it can be a stepping-stone to a better future. This is in every case a deliberate CHOICE to turn everything towards something positive. Important that you make a deliberate coice and choose to see it as a positive thing. (Remember the mind slips back to dwelling on the negative).
If i make a extreme example: You slip and break your leg bone, having to have a cast on one leg and trouble moving etc.. thats pretty negative id say..but even here you can choose..
Either dwell on the dark negative things and troubles, OR choose to see it as something that you can turn into something positive..
So with the leg in a cast, hard to move and pain.. how can that be positive..?
Well lets say you notice that there is few means to aid you to get around and the ones that exist is not so well functioning.. so you ponder upon this and you get a idea and invent a thingie that helps you being more mobile, and getting around. This thing you invented you can patent and sell and it is something others in your position will want, so you turned this situation around into being something positive. You would never have done that if you hadn't broken your leg.
Or lets say another way in the same situation: your a author/artist this situation when you cant be as mobile you choose to use the time to write/create making it into a productive period giving you a good output, and maybe influencing your creating so it gets a added flavour thru your emotions.
Or yet again the same situation: You choose to use this time to rekindle relationships with family, friends, children and spouses, deepening the bonds. Even if they have to come to you, and thus taking place where everything is familiar and focus can be on the persons. The outcome is more and better emotional attachements. Or start a new one by online means, still its a positive choice...

Each case no matter what the negative and dark experience is consistent of, it can always be utilized for something positive, and chosen to be viewed as something positive it works FOR you instead of against you.

If you keep choosing to see things from a positive aspect and either as bright spots or means to achieve something positive. What your activly doing is training your brain to see things that way (brain entrainment). What will become evident after even a short period, is that the positive parts become more visible, more detailed, and increases in frequency. The amazing thing occurs once you have your brain trained to see things this way, then it starts doing it subconciously leading you into paths that gives you even more of this bright positive happiness. It increases infinitely the more it is practiced, and when looking back even at a time when you know you were facing hardship the filters applied by the mind works FOR you and you actually get a memory of that time as a positive time.
Every small detail matters and by choosing the bright perspective your brain will in retrospect enlarge and show only this. And that triggers a feeling of lasting happiness. Essentially you have and hold the key to happiness, found and obtained by choosing, by utilizing brain entrainment, by knowing how your mind works, by constantly training your mind.

This is a way to use a very simple way of brain entrainment to achive a perpetually growing state of happiness.

The choice is now yours..

You raise some interesting things in that post, and I agree with many things you say, B.

However, I don't fully subscribe to what you say about achieving goals and ambitions. Yes, if you achieve your goal, it won't necessarily bring you total happiness, and there are plenty of other things - more important things - that can bring about happiness - and, surely, happiness should be the goal for us all, but that doesn't mean that achieving goals and ambitions aren't beneficial and can't bring happiness.

Although, to quote from one of my own books (The Road To Purification: Hustlers, Hassles & Hash:

"By the time you get what you wanted, you're already wanting something else. The thing that you get soon becomes familiar and you forget you wanted it in the first place."

If the goal of us all is to be happy, then doing work which we enjoy (or which we feel is our calling) should be an important factor; seeing as work takes up most of our hours. Unfortunately the vast majority of people are working jobs they don't like, and often hate. But, oh, how the soul would soar with joy if we were all able to do the work we really wanted to do!

So, I can't see any great danger in reaching for your dreams at all.

When you say: "This is where a great danger lies, especially for people who has the dream of hitting it big within their area of focus. Musicians, authors, artists, inventors, and all creative people in general are very clear examples." - I just have to disagree.

The motivation behind reaching ambitions could contain dangers, for sure. If you want to be a worldwide known singer with number one hits whilst being paid millions of pounds, there's a danger in your intentions, in that going after material wealth alone will not bring you happiness. But if you're a singer who simply wants to make a living out of doing what you love, and you achieve it, you'll certainly be happier than you were before. And I'd argue that the vast amount of creative people like myself never go looking for fame and fortune. All we want is to make a modest living out of doing what we feel we should be doing with our lives.

Having said all that, there's something I've been meaning to mention for a while now, with regards to The Law of Attraction (as popularised by the book The Secret - which, by the way (when The Secret came out), wasn't a damn secret at all. Plenty of spiritual practices and spiritual people had been employing The Law of Attraction for a long, long time, before it was labelled.

Can you really get what you want? I'd argue yes, you can. I've seen the process in action plenty of times. But it's not quite as simple as people like Rhonda Byrne make out, and you need to be very careful of what you wish for...

- And it's that last point that I want to expand on.

What really, really, really fucking annoys me about The Secret, and other books connected to the premise, is that it always seems to be about what one can get FOR THEMSELVES.

Want a parking space in town? Use The Law of Attraction.

Want to get ten grand in the next five years? Use The Law of Attraction.

Want to be a best selling author? Use The Law of Attraction.

Wait a minute... if The Law of Attraction actually works, wouldn't it be better to ask for more important things than a fucking sports car?

How about: We want an end to war. Use The Law of Attraction!

We want racism to be obliterated. Use The Law of Attraction!

We want starving kids in Africa to be fed. Use The Law of Attraction!

Simply: would it not be better to use it to help OTHER people, rather than use it to get something we want for ourselves? Is that not somewhat selfish?

And I don't think that has to contradict my earlier statements about succeeding with ambitions making us happy. I believe we should ALL be able to live the lives we want. Ask for things for yourselves, sure - but get it in fucking perspective. It's MORE important to "attract" love and peace and solutions to the world's problems.

What I find mad about The Law of Attraction is how it's been popularised to make being selfish O.K. When you actually look at 'the spirituality' of The Law of Attraction, it's actually very, very close to Satanism (not Devil worship, but Satanism which is all about you being your own god and putting yourself first.) I mean, think about it for a minute. Yes, The Law of Attraction is very much like (people like Anton La Vey's version of) Satanism.

My, how the meaning of spirituality has changed and evolved over the aeons. All I see these days are people reading spiritual books which are more like self-help books and are completely centred on the individual.

I call for a return to spirituality which is about kindness, forgiveness and love, where we help others.

That's more important than being the next J. K. Rowling.

."

In a sense your saying what I failed to express. Reaching for a goal or doing what makes you happy is not just a passage to reach a goal it is important as well cause most of the time this is the norm and this is where positive brain entrainment can be most of value. The danger i spoke of lays when a dream goal is fullfilled and they dont dream or wish or strive for something else. They do nothing, like a deflated baloon, looking back at a party when they were great and awe inspiring, and in the end all they do is Nothing.. just and only linger on the emotional high they reached when they achieved their goal.
Aching and longing for a Repetition of that emotion, but dont reach for anything new.

And indeed the second thing i failed at conveying is that when you do what you do for the love and joy of doing what you are doing (here the objective, or road is also the goal, fullfilling, and a source of happiness), and money is just a means to achieve that (means), you are on the right road.
But when you do what you do and you loose your way and the objective becomes the means and the means becomes the objective you have lost something essential... namely the joy and love for what you do.
And i whole heartedly agree law of attracton works. But a wise person dont use it for personal gain. I use it to help those in need. Battered women and children, lonely elders and others in need to be exact, those who is stuck due to circumstances. I was one of them once. And everyone just always says: “SOMEONE has to help them, SOMEBODY should, the SOCIALS will” (or similar idiotic statements) So I always state when its within my possibility: “ I dont know about you, but I know I am somebody, I am someone, and I cant do everything, but i can do something” that has in fact triggered a avalanche of people who actually started thinking, and many has gotten involved in various help services, charities. Etc and that is the power of somebody.. that is what i use it for. To create something good out of something bad. My bad experience taught me the reality they are living in, and my hardship taught me i am perhaps just somebody, but i can do what i can, and what ever little or much that is, is better than nothing. Usually it triggers others. And then They learn that helping unselfishly actually benefits all. Both the recipant and the giver. So its a win win..

Of cause 😉
♥️

I am living what i preach now.
I made one of my impossible landings.
Impossible landings? Yup, slipped on ice that was hidden under powder snow, and landed in a split (right leg stretched forward, left leg stretched backwards, thats bad enough, the issue was that i was actually laying on the left leg that was backworths, and it was bent wrong way at the knee and lay like a perfect angelwing sticking out from under me..
Kneecap severly dislocated, and whole leg luxated and swollen, no walking on that is possible..the doc wanted to give a crapload of morphine.. i refuse, i dont like chemicals..
I put my mind in an altered state. Focusing its much better.
I could be screaming in pain (very tempting), or get angry and all negative.
*Throws love around, hoping that it will bring smiles, and joy whilest spreading like the proverbial rings on the water*

So this works. And spreading love and happiness out towards the universe starts a positive wave 😬

James Morcan | 11378 comments This is a cool free resource I'm using, guys n gals...Listen to any frequency sound you want for desired brainwaves (see below for instructions)

Ultimate Brainwaves
https://brainaural.com/

Welcome:
Welcome to the most powerful brainwave entrainment generator on the web. Don't be fooled by its relatively simple user interface. This software is capable of producing the widest range of brainwave modulations available so far, such as binaural beats, isochronic tones, bilateral entrainment, modulated white noise, and more! If you are eager to start your own brain hacking experiments, the rest of this section covers the basics: the minimum you should know to make sense of the sliders above. If you are interested in further understanding what brainwave entrainment is, more information follows!

Brainwaves are not pseudo-science: they exist. Brainwaves are a by-product of our brain's activity and packs of neurons communicating with each other. These brainwaves fall into different groups, depending on their frequency and their location in the brain. These groups have been linked to various body states, such as being alert, relaxed, or sleepy. Brainwaves are not audible: they are not sound waves, and even if they were, their frequencies would fall way below our audible range.

By using a stimulus at a given frequency, brainwave entrainment aims at synchronizing the brain with that frequency and inducing a given state such as drowsiness or focus. The stimulus could be anything, e.g. visual. This website uses auditory stimuli. Since the brainwave frequencies are not in the audible range, a trick is needed to convert the frequency we want to impose on our brain into something that is audible. The trick consists of selecting a frequency that we hear - we call it a carrier - then modulating this carrier with the brainwave frequency one wants to make audible. This website offers four modulators that can be used separately or combined: amplitude modulation (monaural modulation), binaural beats, stereophonic panning (bilateral modulation) and frequency modulation.

That's it! You can start using our online brainwave tool now. Choose a particular brainwave frequency, a carrier, and then apply some modulation. Tweak the settings until you hit a sweet spot. Let it flow for a couple of minutes at moderate level. Then ask yourself how you feel. Calmer? Focused? Sleepy? Alert? Annoyed by the sound? That is possible too ;-) Everything is possible!

We allow up to five different brainwaves frequencies (1-5) to be mixed together to create complex entrainment routines. If you are new to brainwave entrainment, start using a single brainwave first.

Brainwaves:
The brain is an electrochemical organ. Though its electrical power is very limited, its electrical activity can be recorded using sensitive electrodes such as those used during an electroencephalogram. Hans Berger was the first man to measure such activity, about 80 years ago. Berger's goal was to show that the electromagnetic fields of the human brain could be used for telepathy at that time, but he didn't succeed. However, during his research, Berger found prominent waves around 10 cycles per second. He named them alpha, as these were the first that were detected. Later, he found another family of waves of a higher frequency, which he called beta. Berger discovered that alpha waves diminished during sleep, while beta waves were related to mental concentration. After they were confirmed by many other scientists, these waves became the basis for detecting the different states associated with our brain. With the progress of scientific research and technology, additional brainwaves have been isolated since then. These were categorized according to their frequencies and where they occur in the brain. Here we will only talk about the frequencies since this is of most interest for brainwave entrainment.

• Delta waves are the slowest, with frequencies below 4 cycles per second [Hz]. They occur when sleeping, mostly in the deep – dreamless – state.

• Theta waves are characterized by frequencies between 4 and 8 Hz. They are associated with drowsiness. They occur in that twilight state when we drift off to sleep, or slowly wake up, and when we are dreaming.

• Alpha waves are in the frequency range of 8 - 12 Hz. These are the waves discovered by Berger, and are sometimes named after him (Berger's waves). They are associated with the awake but relaxed state: think being at rest, with your eyes closed, but not tired or asleep.

• Beta waves are even higher in frequency range, between 12 - 30 Hz. They are associated with active thinking and concentration.

• Gamma waves are the fastest, with frequencies above 30Hz. They show up in the higher cortex, during working memory and learning.

The descriptions made above are simplified views of what happens in reality. First, the brain does not operate on one frequency range at any given time. Second, these bands are actually overlapping. It is impossible to put precise boundaries between them: though at 9 Hz, you are likely to be in an alpha state, it is possible you are still in theta. The frequency ranges associated with the different states also vary across studies. Lastly, every human brain is different!

The CIA On Time Travel And The Holographic Reality - The Gateway Process https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXfzx...

The “Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process” was declassified by the CIA in 2017

This Gateway Process was a meditation lesson that taught humans to harness their own electromagnetic energy waves which come from their body. It also taught them how to control brain waves, and use them to, essentially, detach from time and space.

As the body is turned into a coherent oscillator vibrating in harmony with the surrounding electrostatic medium, the specific exercises included in the Gateway process allow the participant to build up the energy field surrounding their body, presumably by using energy from the earth’s resonant field (the same resonant field that was the basis for much of Nikola Tesla’s work) which the body then entrains because of its ability to resonate with it.

This is big. Aside from the obvious question of what nefarious purpose the CIA was hoping to achieve with this process, it’s hard to miss the deduction of what detaching the from time and space means — fourth dimensional travel with all that it implies (heaven, afterlife, a different dimension).

This talks about many ideas such as binaural technologies, the law of attraction.

There is a lot to unpack here so I read the whole document for you to judge for yourself.
