I am currently reading Fangirl, which I am taking too long to finish. I think I started it in the middle of August and I am still not done yet. I think that even if it's really good, I am just not in that mood right now. I will definitely finish it this week though.
I am also reading The Titan's Curse, which is a series I should have started long ago but never did. These books are quick reads, so I hope it will help me get on track with my 2018 reading challenge.
What about you all?

I'm looking forward to when my nieces get older and I can try to recommend these books to them. That's a long way off though.

1. Little bee by Chris Cleave
2. Young Elites by Marie Lu
3. Astonishing colour of after by Emily X.R. Pan
4. Here we are by numerous authors
5. Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro
6. Misery by Stephen King
7. Book Thief by Markus Zusak
8. Artemis by Andy Weir
9. Krone der Sterne by Kai Meyer (German!)
I'm probably going to start "This adventure ends" by Emma Mills soon.

Misery is one of my favorite books. I hope you enjoy it. It's a whole different level of spooky.
I’m currently starting the Harry Potter series, for the first time believe it or not so thats fun :D I’m reading Philosopher’s Stone and so far I’m enjoying it ♥️

1. Das Haus das in den Wellen verschwand (english titel: The Blue) from Lucy Clarke
- I have only a few pages left and it is really good. Thrilling and a page turner.
2. Demon Road from Derek Landy
- A buddy reads with two friends and we all love it so far. Really entertaining - like a TV Show :D.
3. Throne of Glass Vol. 4 from Sarah J. Maas
- My actual eBook read. I think, the series is getting better and better. Much more violent and darker - love it :3.
4. Authority from Jeff Vandermeer
- Southern Reach Vol. 2, I just begun to read it. I am really excited, because the first volume was totally mind blowing for me and a real highlight. I also love the writing.
5. The 13½ Lives of Captain Bluebear from Walter Moers
- I read this one very very slowly, because i don't want it to end. it is special and absolutely amazing.

And then I'm e-reading American Parable: Ashes and Embers by Christian Sterling, which is so far so good and giving me so many Sons of Anarchy vibes.
But...I'm kind of in a reading slump...which isn't great for procrastinators...sooo...there's that ;)

I recently finished The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, which completely destroyed me - it was such an incredible but heartbreaking book. (I absolutely loved it though.) I'm honestly not sure (yet) what I'm going to read next, haha.

i had high expectations after reading Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe but so far this book is reaching all of them!!! i’d absolutely recommend anything by Saenz

Right now I'm reading Homegoing and The Misanthrope

I’m continuing my reading progress on Scythe (physical) and The Hero of Ages (ebook) :D

The Bear & the Nightingale is pretty whimsical for me right now with its description and everything. It’s of a Russian tale and I love exploring new cultures through fiction!
The Storm Runner released this Monday. Is there any mythology & Rick Riordan fans here? I just started the book today and I’m so excited to delve into the world of Maya Myths!

I read a similar version of the Zodiac killer years ago. It was interesting but when I read it in public I got some Strange people talking me about it.

I am currently reading reading:
A Darker Shade of Magic
It is so easy to read! I want to finish it this weekend!
I started two months ago:
The Woman in White
This is another book that is easy to read but I had so many library books checked out that I needed to stop and get them done. Now I need to keep going. This part of a book club read for October. Perhaps it will be enough motivation to complete! Its only 647 pages!!

Not sure what its really about, but seems to be zombie themed. I could be completely off the mark, though.

Wow! How do you manage to read so many books at the same time?

YES THE HATING GAME. I recently just bought a copy of it and I'm dying to dive into it but the logic in me says to save it for a rainy day when I'm in a book slump (fluffy contemporary romances are like my go-to cure)

YES! and I think you definitely should wait! I used it to get out of a major book slump XD

But I'm reading like four other books....

I want to start Vicious so badly!! I have the copy and everything but can’t find the right time to start 😭

Maybe you can get someone to buddy read it with you, that's what I usually do when it comes to books I just can't seem to begin

I've read the first two books of "Throne of Glass" and loved it. For some strange reason, I feel scared to continue because I don't know what to expect lol!!

Another Riordan fan here!!
But the only books I haven't read are the Magnus Chase ones D: I loved Apolo's... maybe because they're more mature or maybe because Apolo need a modesty lesson haha
The Storm Runner is flying to me right now~ I hope you enjoy it!
(I'll add you two to my friends if you don't mind)

It's pure magic."
Ernesto, The House of the Spirits is a great read!!! I think I may want to read more Isabel Allende books in the future, maybe read them in Spanish this time instead of English.
