When Angel goes missing, Maeve and Frank provide Sarah with valuable insight to help figure out where she’d gone. Did you ever suspect she was seeing someone or that her friends were hiding something? When she had such a strong reaction to the arranged marriage, did you think then there might have been someone else in the picture?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I expected that her friends might know something. I did not guess there was a young man in the picture; the idea of such a young girl marrying an older man was enough to send her running.

I thought Frank and Maeve’s advice was extremely helpful. It never occurred to me that she had a beau nor that her friends were keeping this big secret. Also, it was a great point made by Maeve that she would have had a specific destination before leaving her home. She wouldn’t have had the courage to do so.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I really didn't think about the fact that she might have a boyfriend in the wings. I figured she ran away because of the arranged marriage to an older man. I also figured that her friends would have a good idea where she had went.

I’d forgotten how teens stick together on this kind of stuff, especially if there’s a romantic angle.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, the beau explanation came as a surprise even though in hindsight it makes sense.

My initial though was that she had run away and been kidnapped.

That’s where I was leaning initially.

~ Giulia ~ | 193 comments I thought she must have had some kind of destination in mind when she escaped, but I never thought she went to marry someone else. Poor girl, she managed to run away without getting kidnapped or killed in the streets just to get killed in her new home.

There was a terrible irony in that, Giulia.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, it is terribly ironic that if she hadn't run away, she and John Wong would be alive, and probably happily married.
