The first question is actually about the ending .... that is one doozy of a cliffhanger! Thoughts on cliffhangers in general and this one in particular?

I'm not really a fan of cliffhangers, but in this case I think it works. It will be interesting to see everyone working together without Aelin around to direct them.

I love cliffhangers and normally I would dive right into the next book. However, when I finished EOS, I had to take step back. My first thought 'is Aelin going to found/rescued only to sacrifice herself to lock Erawan forever?! I have loved every book so far. I really want to see Aelin & Rowan come through this alive with Erawan banished.

Yes, it is very difficult to be left hanging when characters we love are in peril...

Thankfully, the final book is now out so you will learn their fate...
